Do you not buy sleeves/cases for your phones?
I visited all the stores in the whole city that sell phone cases and none of them had one for Motorola.

The phone slipped out of my sweater pocket while cycling

I ride a recumbent
Ah, one of those types.
A handlebar mount for the phone would be nice, but hard to achieve, because it would compete with the mount for the navigation device
I've seen regular bikes with multiple devices mounted on the handlebars. I don't know how that would work with your particular bike.

Buy online you silly.
-
And pay the triple of the item's value in shipping costs?
-
Shipping from china is often free. Seriously.
-
For sellers, not buyers.

For sellers, not buyers.
What sellers, what buyers? It's just your Chinese grandma sending you a nice gift! Yes, Mr. Customs Officer, her name is AliExpress, that's a common Chinese name.
-
I'm not talking about what the costs are on the paper. I'm talking about how much actual money I'd have to spend. Buying $2 thing with $5 shipping costs is just plain stupid.
-
Picked a random case - it costs $1.23, and shipping is free for up to 20.
And yeah, the actual cases probably go for less and the shipping is part of the price, but since they're made in China anyway, it's not like you can get them cheaper in say, Poland.
-
Quick googling revealed that free shipping doesn't always mean free, especially in extremely low quantities. And I don't want to buy anything but that $2 case.
-
I'unno. Last time I ordered from them, free shipping was free, though that was like $200 on a set of lasers and a bunch of 74XX chips.
