The thread of movie titles and absence of badges. In previous episodes, it was signs you're getting older, chiropractic vs. medicine, atheism vs. Mormonism and religion vs. science with no existentialism nor philosophy thrown in

The Mummy part 3?
not familliar with that one.... but since i'm doing title for that one it doesn't really match does it?
-
This is harder than it looks, as it is hard to come up with paraphrasing that would not pertain to a bunch of movies.
Maybe an addendum to the rules: You must place the year the film was released to US theaters in parens after your title paraphrasing?

Viewing raw requires a modicum of effort which I am seldom motivated to provide. (Unless there's a method which doesn't involve manually editing the URL...?)

The only thing I can say with any certainty is that there is no god.
This is probably just me, I'm not seeing how to get from "there is no evidence of god" to "there is no god". Sure, there may well not be a god, there probably isn't a god, not in any humanly meaningful way anyway. I can' seem to ever get from 99% certain to 100% certain about it.
Reality is weird, and the more we probe into it with science, the weirder it gets. All science can do is replace basic questions about reality with more refined questions.
The only thing I can say with any certainty is that I exist.

What Scientists don't understand is not relevant to reality, because we have enough figured out to model reality, and the parts we haven't figured out are just components of what we already know.
To-may-to, to-mah-to.
When you have quacks saying that they can cure anything and are allowed to keep spouting their particular brand of bull excrement, I am not going to take them seriously.
I sometimes wonder if that's by design. The FDA/USDA/some acronym allows all kinds of herbal "remedies" to be sold over-the-counter, as long as they don't actually work.

If it doesn't need to be, then it remains ambiguous.

There is no reality, only the perception thereof. We do not "see" things. We perceive our interactions with the electromagnetic radiation after it interacts with that object. Likewise with sound, touch, taste, etc. They are just perceptions.
Where science really becomes fun is when you can predict and test for things that cannot be perceived. Neutrinos (only on rare occasions do we interact with them), dark matter and dark energy, etc. That is what is fascinating for me.
Now, I will admit, I do sometimes wonder if dark matter and dark energy may just be a mistake in our models, theories and calculations. But the possibilities that lay out there are staggering.
