Which reminds me - I need to figure out how to move the older badges to the newer ones.
Brute force search seems to be the only option at the moment, and it's not an appealing thought - especially for the older ones.

i wouldn't mind wiping the slate clean and starting with the new SQL badges.
although i may have a bit of an ulterior motive on that one...
-
I'm fairly certain all those with pedantry badges would have a slightly different opinion....
Then again, I could offload the searching of, at least the more positive of, old badges to the recipients if they'd like to keep them...

that i think would be a most efficacious use of admin/mod resources.

SQL ... while 1/2 watching Criminal Minds
And before you know it you've got Criminal SQL on your Mind

... and if they really want to keep them, they have to find two of the less positive ones (not necessarily theirs), oldest first...

And before you know it you've got Criminal SQL on your Mind
Have you seen some of the SQL I produced last night?

i like the way you think!

Someone's been stung too much and getting proactively defensive.
I approve.

Someone's been stung too much and getting proactively defensive.
i wish it wasn't required.
really i do.

I am trying to work out if what has just happened is a WTF or not.
I have been back 3 days give or take... and I'm a 25% poster again.
Is this a WTF? cheesy game show host voice YOU DECIDE!
-
woo! 25% and climbing!
how long before @Arantor steals @accalia's spoon?
find out next time on THE DAILY WTF!
-
I didn't manage the spoon when I was active here before, I doubt it will be a thing any time soon.
However... I do intend to spend this weekend crafting a beast of awesome elegance and WTF. Especially WTF. I am even tempted to name it in honour of the level of WTF it will have.

-
i wish they would at least try
-
Wooden spoon has splinters. Do not want.
Besides, I don't know where you or its previous owner have used it.

-

I'm in the 25% club. I do intend to get back to the 5% club.
-
No thanks! Fox teeth are sharp…
Hey! I only bite if you ask me to.
... Or really really really annoy me by flagging me for a badge I didn't earn.

You.....
You.......,........
[Insert long string of angry gekkering]

gekkering
TIL a new word. (You may have used it before, but I don't remember noticing.)
-
Or really really really about me by flagging me
Not quite sure what that word was intended to be, but I'm pretty sure that's not it.
-
You may have used it before, but I don't remember noticing
i don't believe i have used it before. this seemed like a good place to do so though.
Not quite sure what that word was intended to be, but I'm pretty sure that's not it.
i have GOT to start paying more attention when i swype.... it was supposed to be "annoy".
-
Hey! I only bite if you ask me to.
... Or really really really annoy me
It's a bad idea to vex the vixen.

It's a bad idea to vex the vixen.
luckily it is rather hard to annoy this vixen.
well.... most days.
at least i do tend to give plenty of warning before i go all teeth and claws.

i wish they would at least try
Sorry. I'm going to be too busy at work in the near term to make a serious run at it. You'll have to start doing things the way Jeff intended and combine posts to reduce your count, to help your competition.
-
Besides, I don't know where you or its previous owner have used it.
It makes a great soup ladle!
-
Or really really really annoy me by flagging me for a badge I didn't earn.
That's why I only flag you for badgers you did earn. It's not my fault not enough people always agree.
-
-
@shadowmod m'aidez
(Dammit, shadowmod, why don't you code-switch?)
-
It makes a great soup ladle!
After learning what @accalia does with her cane, I'm concerned that it has been used for less ... um, well, ... for purposes that one does not discuss in polite company.
-
And I just learned that I need to switch back to my Burns avatar when I'm on the computer that has a copy of it.

Welp.
Bye-bye 10% badge.EDIT: I'm not at the bottom end of the 10% corridor anymore? That's nice.

Ick! do you have any idea how unhygienic that would be?! no!
-
I'm going to drop; yesterday got blown out by multiple back-to-back meetings and a (very nice!) concert in the evening.
-
do you have any idea how unhygienic that would be?
I started to write "for less sanitary purposes," but didn't want anyone to think I was implying that you don't practice good hygiene, so went with the "polite company" bit. But since you brought it up, yes.
-
you sir have a very dirty mind.
I like that./
-
purposes that one does not discuss in polite company
Why do you think I want one so badly? ;)

I could say things at this point, but I might get hit. Come to think of it...
Of course, this innuendo, in your end... oh, plenty of opportunity for me to regain the lower % posting badges. (Yes, innuendo, implying all kinds of things... and rerailing the topic all in one fell swoop. The Arantor is back. Be afraid.)
-
Be afraid.
why? @Arantor seems like a chill dude.
The Arantor is back.
Huzzah!
but I might get hit
hmm... more likely to get bit with me... but i have a rule about that... ;-)
