The most amazing head...

I use a pair of these: Klipsh Image ONE BT
I prefer over the ear too, but I can't tell if they have the full swivel so you can keep an ear free if need be. Do they?
-
aye, they do. and i don't tend to use it. i switched to these from a much lower profile set when it became apparent that many of my non-geek coworkers did not understand the dangers of context switching, but they do get that i can't hear you with the headphones on.
-
OK, this shit just raised 300k in 24 hours. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G
-
IKR, i want me a piece of that!
quick someone give me a bad idea that sounds like it might actually be a good idea that i can form a business around and milk the internet for wads of wonga before disappearing for the face of the planet entirely because i've just bought my own private island and the internet can suck it!
-
Cat-paw-like smartphone-optimized gloves?
-
How about a product that just kills everybody who buys it. Like a bomb. Crowdfund a bomb.
-
Says the person with the furry avatar. But I agree, whoever buys this is a complete goober.
-
Cat-paw-like smartphone-optimized gloves?
.... DO WANT!~
excellent. i'll start formulating the idea. is a 30% share of the profits sufficient royalties do you think?

Dragons aren't furry
you would be surprised how many people get that wrong.
or maybe not. the internet is a weird place...

I think the issue is most people are used to green or red dragons, and with Lilac being purple and having hair, it confuses them.

or perhaps it's dragons that don't look like Smaug that confuses them?
-
Only if I get two pairs in addition to that!
-
Only if I get two pairs in addition to that!
DONE!
no seriously i'm looking into this. I might never bother bringing them to market but i'm sure as heck making a pair for me and the two requested pairs for @aliceif.
-
or perhaps it's dragons that don't look like Smaug that confuses them?
Well, Lilac doesn't breathe fire, that's for sureNot sure what would happen if a water dragon could breathe fire. Would it keep putting itself out?
-
Not sure what would happen if a water dragon could breathe fire
well, in LotR there aren't water dragons, but there are acid and ice dragons (at least those are mentioned) so presumably water dragons would breath.... water? scalding steam? something like that.
-
but no facepalm... sigh.
God damned emoji. They're ugly, fail to represent most emotions, and Discourse can't even quote them properly.Hey @codinghorror, since you're here, I'll pay you $2 if you remove emoji from Discourse and replace it with the good old-fashioned set of emoticons from phpBB. The ones that have a and a :P and :) that don't have their mouth open like idiots.
-
Besides, Smaug probably has a lousy thrust-to-weight ratio compared to anything else his size that flies. He probably has never run into serious wake turbulence in his life, either...
Filed under: tailgating a widebody is a health hazard, even for dragons
-
I hear thrusting dragons are also pretty dangerous.
-
Dragons aren't furry
There might well be a whooosh here, depending on whether penprog meant "a Furry avatar".
-
I hear thrusting dragons are also pretty dangerous.
At this point, I have that in the clipboard. I wonder how long it'll stay there.
-
-
So it's a dragon, but it's not dragon-shaped, not dragon-colored, and has no dragon-like abilities and does not seem to have any scales (just smooth purple skin). But it has horns, so that's something I guess.
-
perhaps something like @accalia's avatar?
I'll let you decided if you just whoooshed or not by just saying "furry" and "Furry".
-
I'll let you decided if you just whoooshed or not by just saying "furry" and "Furry".
well.. i admit the capitalization's throwing me off,
something like one's a proper name or something?
(yeah that's probably a whoosh, don't tell @pjh, please....)
-
-
oh. I see now.
You were using:
- furry
- Covered in fur
- Furry
- Anthropomorphic fandom.
-sigh- have i mentioned it was a long week? i read them both as your capitalized one and got extremely confused. (you know cause @RaceProUK's avatar has no fur and it turns out that most of the fandom agrees it doesn't actually require fur to be "a furry" (which, by the by, that indefinite article would have helped comprehension immensly) )

The funny thing was I couldn't tell which meaning I thought you were using. And I did call out penprog should've said "a". :)
-
I am not free of the guilt of leaving mbiguity in my posting.
my avatar is probably furry rather than "a furry" by the simple reasoning that it is covered in fur and, other than the multiple tails, is not anthropomorphised.
Racepro's avatar is a furry because it is anthropomorphised, but i wouldn't actually stick to that terminology because furries are a touchy subject on the internet*.
- i really don't get why. but that's beside the point isn't it?
i think it is clear by now. someone in this thread has earned a Whoosh badge, but i have no idea who... that means it's me, doesn't it? -sigh-
-
Whoosh all around.
-
@accalia's avatar is furry (it's a kitsune i.e. a fox). The odd thing though is that, once a kitsune has lived long enough, it becomes a furry, as it transforms into an anthropomorph.
My avatar is technically a furry, being anthropomorphic, but is not actually furry.
Welcome to the weird world of anthros 😉
-
well, i think that's not likely at all. there are only 6 unique recipients of the badge to date...

My avatar is technically a furry, being anthropomorphic, but is not actually furry.
and for some reason, this was a source of great confusion to me not 30 discominutes ago.
-
You have the typical narrow view of what a dragon is. Which is fine; so did I before Sash Lilac rocked up 😊
-
furries are a touchy subject on the internet*.
i really don't get why.
Probably due to XKCD. Either that or it's a heirarchy thing. I don't know why furries are on the bottom, but they are.
-
well, i think that's not likely at all. there are only 6 unique recipients of the badge to date...
Well, it's administered on demand, and people here are all too @blakeyrat and won't flag.
-
just so long as we agree on one thing.
VAMPIRES TO NOT [copulation-vulgar] SPARKLE!
you can be a mystical demon of the night or whatever you want to be and sparkle if you want to, but that's not a VAMPIRE! quit perverting my horror stories of childhood for pulp fiction!
GAH!
</blakeyrant>
-
I don't know why furries are on the bottom, but they are.
probably the same reason that the nerds/geeks are at the botom of the social ladder in High School.
-
well, honestly i think if anyone earned it it was me, and i'm sure as [copulation] not going to flag myself.
which i do notice i can actually do...
-
lol I meant Furry as in the really weird group of people that like to dress as animals and fantasize about anthropomorphic animals (dragons included) having sex
-

<big>VAMPIRES TO NOT [copulation-vulgar] SPARKLE!</big>
Reminds me of something my ex was making.
-
ol I meant Furry as in the really weird group of people that like to dress as animals and fantasize about anthropomorphic animals (dragons included) having sex
not sure if trolling or if you really need to get out more.
-
What would I be trolling about? Are you implying that group doesn't exist?
-
no, it exists.
for the record it's that tiny subsection of the Furry community that meets over in that corner way over there.
why does everyone think that there's nothing but that subgroup? seriously, that's just weird.
I mean I do enjoy the beauty that comes from the furry community in their art and literature, but that doesn't mean i'm remotely interested in [copulating] it!
-
Who let buddy be a tl3?
-
-
Discourse did.
And soon it shall me as well.
Wednesday to be precise, unless i've messed up the math.
after that onwards to TL4!
-
Everywhere I've seen the term Furry used it's been in the context of someone wanting to have sex with anthropomorphic animals. It appears I was mistaken.
-
Yes, but the fault is not only your own. The media is also to blame.
and the rest of the internet that seems to enjoy making fun of the furry community in the same way the Jocks enjoyed making fun of the geeks at high school lunch. that doesn't help either.
-
why does everyone think that there's nothing but that subgroup? seriously, that's just weird.
Because that's the only part that exists on common TV. Seriously, some cop show, NCIS 23 or Law And Order 842 or something had an episode that centered around a sex furry convention where someone was killed.
I think they even used the term yiffing correctly, probably because the censors didn't know what that meant.
