The Question is What Is The Question?

By whose definition of civilised?

By whose definition of civilised?
Wasn't I asking @faoileag? Or was I using a generic 'you'?
-
-
By reading foreign newspapers?
Wouldn't that just tell me what foreign reporters thought?
-
Does always asking questions sound very civilized to you?
Does closing topics in the middle of a discussion sound very civilized to you?

Does closing topics in the middle of a discussion sound very civilized to you?
What if it's an uncivilized discussion?

But doesn't he have a vaild point? I mean, wouldn't Jeff's definition of "civilized" differ from that of, erm, more civilized people?

Wouldn't that just tell me what foreign reporters thought?
But wouldn't that also count as foreign opinion?

Isn't that a terrible excuse to avoid answering?
-
But wouldn't that also count as foreign opinion?
Are you confusing a foreign opinion for foreign opinion?
-
Wouldn't Discourse make that impossible?
Are we talking theoretically or practically?
-
Isn't that a terrible excuse to avoid answering?
Would I care about that in this thread?
-
Are you confusing a foreign opinion for foreign opinion?
Perhaps one foreign opinion reflects all foreign opinion?
-
Are we talking theoretically or practically?
Since it's Jeff's baby, "theoretically" would be the safest bet, don't you think?
-
Seeing as we likely enter from different parts of the world, we've never been in here at the same time until now?
Or, until now, they were actually separate rooms (and are now intra-dimensionally blended)?
-
Wouldn't "factually" being on the opposite side of the world to you Europeans and Americans place me in the Pacific or Indian oceans?
-
Australia isn't an oversized island between the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean?
-
It is<It seems I accidentally a whole word there><woo, more broken parser nonsense, start a tag with valid html like i or u and it applies it to everything up to the closing tag (if one exists) even if there is other stuff in the tag that doesn't make any sense for the spec>, but the points opposite Australia place it in the middle of the Atlantic (and possibly consuming some of Iceland).
Do you think if Australia did end up in the middle of the Atlantic that bridges might be able to be built joining it to UK/Europe and continental US?
