🎂The cupcake thread of celebrations.
-
Also, I delivered some cupcakes as well, but I don't know if @Yamikuronue saw it yet...
-
-
-
I would like to respectfully ask for a do-over.
-
Ping me in a few hours after I get home and unwind then ;)
-
Who's black uncaring heart is on the menu?
-
It's not really a big deal--I just don't think I've seen you do that before. It's not as if I was offended--I did like the bloody-glass ones when my car got sideswiped, remember?
-
Who's black uncaring heart is on the menu?
Just about the whole dev team's. I may hit up the Yamirant thread later.

ice cream.
Sweet[1]. Makes me tempted to run on down to Dairy Queen for a soft-serve.
Except here in Texas, they don't do butterscotch dip. What the actual fuck.
[1] no pun intended, etc.
-
No not for @onyx having a good music taste apart from his scooter love

I'm not sure what's going on anymoer

I think he wanted something for his
257% attendance
badge.I'll take the scooter ones if the Belch is picky though
-
Ah
The problem with attendance and post badgers is that they're super played-out. Hence why I've started posting random cupcakes for those types of celebration >.>
-
Well then, I'm celebrating that Scooter exists and I enjoy it, which has the added benefit of annoying some people.
Oh and look, cupcakes arrived before I even ordered ;P
-
Scooter's the guy who did Whistling Dave, right? ;)
-
-
Don't worry ... there perfect ... Those look better then any other scooter I know.
-
-
FINALLY GOT ONE!

How about "celebrate" that like 47 people a day are now ripping-off my "linux hardware" joke and keep posting it as if it's still even slightly funny and I somehow haven't murdered any of them.
-
-
-
Well ripping-off is a bad word, more like "kicking a dead horse". The joke was only barely funny to start with, seeing it like 27 times a day is not helping it get funnier.
-
"kicking a dead horse"
YMBNH
Also, it's "beating a dead horse".
I mean, kicking is a form of beating, but that's not how the idiom goes.
-
The joke was only barely funny to start with, seeing it like 27 times a day is not helping it get funnier.
I think it's a meta joke at this point because it was such a non-joke originally.
-
It beats embedded OSes without filesystems.
-
I built a robot which ran an embedded Linux distro. However, because it didn't have a filesystem it's memory was crap and it accidentally wandered onto @boomzilla's lawn, even though I told him not to. @boomzilla then did his job and
SPANK
ed the poor thing until it looked like Discourse with a severe case of cooties. No, I can't show you the horse's body. Not even X rating is enough for this horror.
-
Also, it's "beating a dead horse".
Or "flogging a dead horse". The other phrase gets dangerously close to another moment…
-
A dirty mind is a joy forever? Again?

Fixed a bug after hours of hell.
I did cause it myself, sure, but I think I deserve a small cupcake none the less?
-
-
I do not envy that you undertook that task, and I applaud your efforts. I suggest you now go to the Cupcake thread, because, dayum, you deserve some sort of reward ;)
As indicated by @RaceProUK, I'm celebrating being done sorting through the Discopædia to create the Discopædia meta topic. Having read through over 700 posts twice (or three times in some cases due to discoerrors) to ensure that I didn't miss any posts or accidentally jeff some incorrectly, I feel that celebration is in order now that the task is complete.
-
Should have let @ben_lubar write you a script for that. Would be done some time in the next 10 years.

Too late. Already done. And now I patiently await my cupcakes!

I'm celebrating them finally getting ready to order me a new computer at work!
Update: they finally actually placed the order today. I think I asked for the machine in early March.
I got "upgraded" from an Inspiron to an Optiplex and lost the Wifi and BT, but on the other hand, it's more expensive now!
So I guess...I guess, I'm celebrating I'm not the one who is paying for it.

Checking whether my bots were still logged in, I went via my profile, and saw this:
Surely this lovely coincidence is worth at least one cupcake?
And look who's reply 10,000:
