Card game is OK IMHO. Well, I thought so at the time anyway.
The games... I got to play them much later since GameBoys weren't common around here. Gave up, overly simplistic for my taste. I guess I didn't start playing them as a kid. Might've enjoyed them more then. And continue to enjoy them as many people seem to.
-
I've played the gameboy game back when red&blue came out. But only ever till I beat the elite four. Never got into the competitive stuff much.

How'd you forget the Caldari heavy interdictor?!

How'd you forget the Caldari heavy interdictor?!
Because the only people who make that mistake are the ones who start shooting at me by accident.
Also, the only ship I never renamed.
Onyx47's Onyx
was a fleet staple for a while.

Ah. Welcome comrade. Only a day behind me on your posts I see.

If only certain topics didn't have hyphenated strings of digits posted by a certain interfering admin, I'd have been here long ago. 2^12.81958 posts, before this one.

Apparently I had fallen farther down the list than I had realized as I just got this one today

That... is awesome!
The tools aren't quite to scale though... (now you've brought my attention to the picture for a second time...)

for pedantic killjoy.

To pick just one: have you ever seen a box-cutter that's the length of a sawblade? (Unless that's the world's tiniest little saw...)

I never flew HIC's or 'Dictors although I did have skills for them. Too much of a risk of getting podded :D
-
Where's your sense of adventure, man?
I loved HICs, dictors and Rooks the most. Yes, Rooks. Cloaky Falcon bullshit, to battle!
I also annoyed many a fleet commander by flying "hope tank" Rooks. That's missiles, jammers, jamming amplifiers, BCUs and large amounts of "hope you don't get shot" modules.
Also Drakes after I was broke after losing all my T2 ships... Hmmm.... Might be a connection there...

Got this result for "mediocre cupcakes":
Personally, I think a brisket sandwich makes a terrible cupcake, but to each their own I suppose.

I just had lunch, and now I'm hungry again!

Reddit Cake Day.
I would link picture of said cake, but ~uploads not allowed~ so a comment link will have to do.

While light dictors do tend to be the 'flying coffins' of EVE -- HICtors, IME, are robust enough that you don't explode nearly as often, and they don't leave you sitting there in your own belgium-ing bubble! (Seeing a light dictor pilot panic and dump a bubble atop himself is hilarious, btw. ;) )

As a (small-time) WH FC -- I'd tell you to fit some buffer, or expect no attention to any of your broadcasts. (Hint: Armor reps land at end-of-cycle.)Also, my PvP Loki has a good 25 sensor strength (yes, I run ECCM on it ;P), and it only gets worse from there: many DPS T3s fit a Dissolution Sequencer subsystem and wind up with sensor strengths of 30 or more without ECCM fit.
Last but not least -- a Bastioned Marauder just won't give a belgium about your hope(less) tank anyway.

I only did it in larger fleets where there was more ECM on the field anyway. Usually ran shield buffer in WH (we had shield buffs in ours so all reps and ships were shield).
And I think we EVEd up the thread enough for now :P

Probably worked better then, yeah -- shield reps land at the beginning of the cycle. We tend towards armor primarily because shield fleets have issues with bringing sufficient utility to the fight; also, there are very few shield ships for energy warfare work, which is a big drag when trying to bust up RR balls and knock down caps.

shield reps
Oh, forgot to mention I loved Scimitars as well. Yes, I kept flying bullet magnets and kept winding up broke.

brisket sandwich [...] terrible cupcake
Harrison Bergeron called and ... hmm, I don't know where to go with that joke. But it's not fair to call something a terrible cupcake just because there's no cake in it. And since a brisket sandwich sounds pretty yummy, especially if you dip it in au jus or something, I think it sounds like a pretty good cupcake. For some loose definition thereof.
