If you had EVER clicked reply as new topic before but changed your mind, your "new topic" gets saved, and the next time you click reply as new topic you get an extremely confusing tacked on quote to your already existing post.
which resulted in this.... where I was going to start a new topic about not posting IRL photos, but never bothered. then i was testing @matches's reply as new topic middle click bug and got this thing....

Honestly I think it's just Firefox choking on its own vomit and not processing mouse events in a timely manner. But this forum is the only site where I consistently experience such things.

Wee 3 new topicsOh wait just 2 new topics because 1 was the same topic twice - tacked onto each other seeming at random because it counts any and all "new topics" as being the same 1 new topic. You are only allowed to think about creating 1 new spinoff topic at a time I guess.

It was weeks ago that i had started that other topic - I didn't even remember it existed until I started the new one and got that other crap tacked in. At first I thought it was a bug, but after trying to repro it in this topic I realized it's actually a "feature".
