The correct--well, possibly most funny, anyway--response for Walmart would be to suggest something really expensive.
-
If color coding is to be believed, she asked Walmart for help and then liked her own request for help?

only to call in his mom
Mom, I paid someone to strip and they wouldn't do it.
They paid a further two times.
I can see who he got his dumb gene from.

The fuck was that, more than 1.5 hours downtime (I assume unplanned, at least I didn't see any notices)?
At least I got that pic out of it:

That's pretty funny, but Cheer Up Emo kid was better before the hiatus.

$500 is not a microtransaction, it's a macrotransaction.
Microtransactions would be more like, you can see her naked as long as you continuously throw $1 bills at her... wait...

That exactly describes the way I work with Git.
Apart from using SourceTree instead of CLI. But in case of errors, the workflow is exactly that.

I know none of you will be able to read it, but it provides a sense of legitimacy to post a newspaper clipping, so there.
Podunkville police received the information about a stolen car window on Smalltown Street in Podunkville. Upon arriving, police established the theft has not occurred - it turned out the owner forgot to close the window before leaving her car.
-
He should have called his mom for confirmation
-
It was a she (it's lost in translation since 'owner' doesn't hint at gender).
No mention of her hair colour, sadly.
-
-
it turned out the owner forgot to close the window before leaving her car.
Some cars allow you to close the window after leaving the car ...
-
Quite often as a curtsey by guy that just borrowed your handbag
-
And some even close it themselves when you lock the car.
Which brings us to: did she lock it?
-
Some cars allow you to close the window after leaving the car ...
I appreciate the pedantry, but I'll blame it on my bad translation. She left the car without closing the window neither before nor after leaving.
-
And some even close it themselves when you lock the car.
Such advanced technology is not widespread here.
I've seen it mostly on some new Audis, but it is quite rare.
-
My 2006 Peugeot 206 does it, and it's not even a posh model. I thought it was a pretty common feature.

Meh, I guess I'm wrong. I still don't see it that often. My 2008 car doesn't have it.
All of my friends' cars don't too.

It'd be fucking annoying if my car closed the windows by itself when I locked it. I'm glad it's not a common feature.
When it's summer I deliberately leave the windows at least partly open and lock it.It does, however, close the windows if I leave them open, lock the car, and it rains. I'm fine with that.

What is this sorcery? I seriously hadn't heard about this before.
So a rain sensor (same or similar to automatic windshield wipers, I guess) which constantly monitors rain even when car is locked and turned off?

This is the first I've heard of such a feature.

I rarely open my windows, I have hayfever in summer and don't want pollen all inside my car. It's not so bad though, I use the AC to keep it cool. It kicks in quite fast.

Really? I didn't think my car was anything special, it's only a budget car.
Rather than classifying it as a posh feature, it's more likely one of the many quirks associated with owning a french car.

Isn't that also a mercedes thing?

Yeah, it uses the rain sensor from the automatic wipers. If the window is left open longer than 24 hours it closes them anyway, so presumably stops checking if it's raining too at that point.
-
Me right when I come back to a thread after being busy.
-

That may very well be. French cars are vanishingly rare here. I also don't have experience with Audis. Or much in the way of expensive cars, really.
-

I prefer to stop the car getting too hot. It's not too bad as everything from the B pillar backwards has heat reflective tinted glass but it's still easier to leave the window a bit open then kick the AC in when I set off.
-
the handle to pop the hood being on the passenger side,
On the far side, like passenger door, or just on the right side of the console so you can still reach it relatively painlessly?
-
Filed under: along with; the handle to pop the hood being on the passenger side
That's Peugeot laziness because they don't move it over when making a RHD car.
If you had a 307 you'd notice the larger wiper was on the driver's side because they didn't think to swap that over eitherand the wipers and headlight controls being the opposite way round to most other cars
Que? Lights in the left, wipers on the right?
I think that's the typical way around, the only vehicle I've ever driven that was different was a 1994 Hyundai something.
-

The left side of the passenger (left hand) footwell. The correct place on a LHD car.
That's Peugeot laziness
Also - back to the 307 and 407 (and probably others) - the brake pedal is connected to a metal bar which connects to the same location on the passenger side (where the pedal would be on a LHD car) rather than moving the rest of the brake components (well the master cylinder at least) to the right of the car.
-
I didn't realise @DoctorJones was one of you people who don't drive on the right side ergo drive on the wrong side
Then it makes a bit of sense though one would think it's not the most expensive part to move when adapting a car from LHD to RHD.rather than moving the rest of the brake components (well the master cylinder at least) to the right of the car.
-
I can't say I feel sorry ... you could just drive at the normal side of the road ...
-
Lights in the left, wipers on the right?
I've driven cars where lights were controlled with a tumbler on the panel to the left of the steering wheel instead of a stick on the wheel.
I've never seen a car where right stick didn't do wipers though.
-

Oh, yeah, that's the case on a lot of cars these days. The main beam and indicators are still on the left stalk though.
The Peugeot 206 IIRCdoesn't have thathas all the light controls on the stalk.
-
doesn't have that.
high beams and indicators?
I didn't realise budget cars had become so budget
-
Touché.
-

Mercedes Benz A-Class.

Mercedes Benz A-Class.
No need for the wipers when the cars spend most of their time falling over
-
So left stalk is wipers?
Where do turn signals go then?

There is nothing to the right ...

German cars don't have indicators
VAG ones do.
I especially like the weird animated ones on new Audis.
