Basically, that code is doing this:
switch(i) { case 0: return r; case 1: return g; case 2: return b; default: /* undefined behaviour */ }
Depending on use, I'd recommend to either insert that switch, or actually store the colour components in an array. I don't think you could actually cleanly write this with pointer manipulation.
Yeah, it's not my code so I'm seeking where this came from and a possible solution that may potentially already have been produced by them.
Edit: Ah, yes, they did almost exactly what you said:

This is art. I feel mentally invigorated.Art, done properly, is food for the “soul”. It’s why Esthetics is one of the five major branches of philosophy.
I’m glad you had enjoyment out of it.

@M_Adams
I really did. Too bad it coincided with Bethesda Game Studios concert at Hammersmith. Otherwise it would have hit my piggy-bank hard for one month, but I just might have attended that as well. I find Inon Zur's scores are just epic.

Now it's actually looking for the library (I think).
Joy.

Boy, I'm just a popular person around here these days.

@pie_flavor 'tis the season for pumpkin spice.
-
@anotherusername I assume that's a joke at my expense, since it doesn't make sense in any other context, but I'm not sure what it is.

@pie_flavor Reads more like a joke on your avatar/username, which isn't really at your expense.

STATUS This is magical. This process starts in groovy, takes a detour into sh and java before finally having to be finished off in python overlooking that you have to manually edit some 500 lines of json yourself. An extra day was spent refining the instructions that I have to re-review.
-
STATUS the recently joined list of people is freaking me out. Some of them look like real social media users but they never post. Did @Lorne-Kates get to them before they could post. I thought he was busy with his new maternity machine.

How stoned do you have to be to do this on a scale of 'I think I'm stoned' to 'my mental faculties are teetering on the edge of being lost forever' ?
-
@pie_flavor Really, you can't figure out why pumpkin spice being in season might be (jokingly said to be) the reason why you're such a popular person these days,
@pie_flavor?
-
@anotherusername I mean, I'm not pumpkin flavor, I'm pie flavor.

What flavor is the pie?
And if I read the recipe, am I bound by the license?

The same is true of pumpkin spice.

@pie_flavor That's a lot of information to process under 2 minutes but superfun. I'm overwhelmed. What is this? Is this a youtube series? I don't

@stillwater yes.
I like trains.

It's one of the Great Old Ones of YouTube past. You can find them all on that channel.
-
Huh. A bug I can reproduce in VSPro I can't repro in VSCommunity. Submitted a bug report, it's been accepted.
#define<space>XXXX<tab>2
On my VSPro machine, this will not show the tab. On my VSComm one, it will. Editor options (and .editorconfig file) are the same.
.editorconfig (only in root directory):
root = true [*] end_of_line = crlf trim_trailing_whitespace = true insert_final_newline = true indent_style = tab indent_size = 4 tab_width = 4
Weird.

I'm on Windows. That's the native EOL.

@dcon is it native on every computer ever? If not, it shouldn't be stored in repo. Assuming your .editorconfig is in repo, which it should.

My stuff is only edited on windows. And because of everyone configuring their git clients differently, we have EOL-hell in our source as it is now.
-
@dcon so it's still

Most of the mentioned windows are for the same task, multiple desktops would not help in this situation.
-
@pie_flavor said in The Official Status Thread:

Suuurrrreee, PowerShell would make a copy command run so much better.
-
@Tsaukpaetra Depending on how complicated it is, it absolutely would.

Enumerating connections:
- dev-MasterServer (Monitoring the base nightly)
- dev-ChatServer (monitoring to check if the build actually attempts to connect to voice services)
- MasterServer (Monitoring the production, just in case the auto-relaunch-on-crash thing doesn't work (it only sometimes does))
- Bobbo (Monitoring the main build machine)
- L1 (The linux VM that's actually running on my local machine but performs better under XRDP than the native Hyper-V console)
-
@pie_flavor said in The Official Status Thread:
@Tsaukpaetra Hmm. How often is that command run?
Every time I rebuild the game server (which is often, since I'm trying to get it to run on Linux at the moment).
Re-running is of course a , Enter. Much more complicated.
-
cd .. rm WindowsServer -recurse ni -type junction -name WindowsServer -value \\bob\shared\t\WindowsServer
And then the files will just get written directly.

Oh, you mean
cd .. rmdir /q /s WindowsServer mklink /J WindowsServer \\bob\shared\t\WindowsServer
?
I'll try it, but I'm not sure how well Samba will take random file writes...
-
@Tsaukpaetra No, I don't, although I'll allow that that has mostly the same effect.

It should have exactly the same effect. What's different?
