Giant hedgehog is Spiny Norman, no?

that's not the name of that critter
The critter is Spiny Norman. Now you know why her long name says "Spiny Norma".
I believe I'm the one that christened her, but I could be wrong.

I'm fairly sure you're correct.

FFS people. Just get an actual van. We love ours. Tons of room for people. Tons of room for stuff. I can put full sheets of plywood / drywall in there no problem.

Now anyone can break in and steal the pies you're trying to sell!
It's a read-only API, so good luck.
Status: Implemented better timestamps and a rarity-colored border, along with a fix for some item icons having a transparent background for no reason at all. I added links to the icons just now, so that should show up as soon as the cache expires. Check it out: https://benlubar.github.io/useless-crap/gw2tp.html
I'm a bit unhappy with the timestamp format for things that are more than 48 hours ago. Anyone have a better format?

Someone would also have to want to and I certainly don't. They probably taste like DF food anway.

I've had better interviews; I've had worse. I'm just hoping I did well enough to get a real interview.
Got email late this afternoon; they want a second phone interview with "the team." I also have an initial, half-hour phone screen with a local Seattle company tomorrow afternoon.

A healing wand of agony, eh?
Anyway, it looks like the supply went down by 16% in the last 8 hours, and that made the price shoot up by 78%.
Now you know a bunch of useless information.
You're welcome.

Status: Heap Space Exception. Cause:
ResultObject obj=ResultObject.parseResultSet(resultSet); while(obj!=null) { list.add(obj); }
Should have been...
ResultObject obj=ResultObject.parseResultSet(resultSet); while(obj!=null) { list.add(obj); obj=ResultObject.parseResultSet(resultSet); }
:doh.gif:

why not this:
```java
while(true)
{
ResultObject obj=ResultObject.parseResultSet(resultSet);
if (obj == null) break;
list.add(obj);
}
This is a really old version of Discourse (1.1.3) so I'm sure there are a lot of bugs, but what's the here?
Shouldn't there be an
A
in that blue box? Unless the admin doesn't get the letter, just a square?
-
No, the old version just has color blocks for default pictures.
I don't rememember that, and we were on Discourse since pre-1.0
Oh well...
All of the Restoration wands in ESO are like that too. It's kind of silly. "A Restoration wand of INFERNO FIRE DAMAGE KILLDEATH".
The traffic outside work is apparently really bad today, enough that one of my colleagues sent round this link:
That's a great image, except it neglects to mention that the light rail system in Seattle is so shitty, there are no trains that go where you need to go. The bus system is so unreliable, you basically can't take it if you have a schedule to meet (yesterday I was passed by TWO apparently invisible route 40 buses before I gave up and got on a route 28 instead), and the city is so hilly and spread-out that only the most fit can cycle anywhere.
And it was TAKEN in Seattle. Sheesh.
... also that's a crowded-ass light rail train. They aren't THAT much bigger than buses.
I'm making no assertion about the sense of what the picture is saying. I'm just saying that in the city where I work (not where I live, and not where I'm currently on vacation) the traffic is so bad that my colleagues were sending that picture around.
Some of my colleagues are militant cyclists. Some are petrolheads. I use trains to commute (because the motorway I'd have to use otherwise is abysmal because of traffic, roadworks, weather and topography).
parseResultSet returns a single object - does that still work?
If so, TIL and that's nifty...
-
No, that wouldn't work.
-
That's what I thought...
-
You could make an iterator in a few lines of code, though. And then you wouldn't even need the loop because you could just do list.addAll.
-
you wouldn't even need the loop
Strictly, you'd be moving the loop into the
addAll
but that's OK.
