That sounds like a plan.

After mowing my lawn before my landlord complains, cleaning up dog poop in the back yard, and other piddling stuff. That's why the main project may, yet again, not get done.
-
Status: up and reasonably caffeinated.
Plan: to go to the next big city to by this "rain shower" I want to install.

Sorry, didn't see your reply all the way there, in the upper right corner. Was working in the lower left the whole day.
-
Wondering why @tarunik is liking posts from when this site first went live.
I think he's just catching up. He's replied to some old stuff, too.

Tired but happy after watching Frozen in the back garden with a projector and sheet combination.

I know I'm late but ...
thank you.Right now I'm trying to decide if I should play Portal 2 or Ys:OiF again.
-
how is Ys anyway. i got it a while ago and havent played yet...
-
Ys Origin is one of the best games I have on PC. OiF is less good, but still quite good.
Nothing comes close to the Turbografx-16 version of Ys Book I&II though.
-
noted. i shall make sure to play them soon then (have 1,2, and origin (i think it's origin) on steam
-
I have no idea how good I&II for PC is.
I heard that things got added and I listened to the OST a few times and found it a little disappointing compared to the version I played.
The gameplay is very different between Ys I&II and the other games (except for the not-anymore-canon versions of Ys IV from 1993).
-
i will play and start a topic on here to complain if 1 and 2 for PC fail.
sound good?

Status: Bought a rain shower. Consider this a successful Saturday.

You can BUY a rain shower? You should tell the people in California, they're having a drought!
-
Ran 6.5 miles with my dogs last night. Went to a new dog park this morning, since I forgot my ticket for tomorrow's Padres game at work. Now about to go to a different dog park with my friend that just got a dog.

Status: had a day that started out sucky, went a bit downhill, then went seven shades of awesome.
Now I have to do some work.

Randomly posting crap in threads and spewing likes when the whim takes me.

Going out with friends to celebrate one's birthday. Hopefully this stomach bug doesn't ruin my night. :sad_panda:
-
One's birthday, or the birthday of one's friend?
Either way, hope you have fun.
-
-
Let me try that again
One's birthday, xor the birthday of one's friend?
-
I approve of this pedantry. I do not approve of it sufficiently to flag it however.

Don't they have these bush pilots that go up high enough in their little planes, release some magic crystals and then it rains?
-
Status: It's raining outside.

Let me clarify that: it's fucking raining a lot outside
-
You mean con artists? Yes, I wager they do.

That would only work if the air is pretty close to the dew point. If it's much too dry, there's just no moisture to speak of there, so no rain for you.
-

But you are in Brussels. That's much closer to England. So you get more rain. QED.
-
-
I'm absolutely not. I'm even closer to the UK then that.
And then you are complaining about the rain? Up here it cleared up as soon as I had hung the washing up and was ready to venture outside.
-
Status: Had a nice day in Denmark.

Monday morning, sat at my desk wondering what mayhem patching has wrought

Reading through the forum since an eternity.
Wondering why chrome always tries to correct me in the language i'm not writing at the moment..

I wasn't. I was reporting the my status. It was raining then. Afterward it cleared up. Perfect for a walk in Brugge die skone. No beer how ever this time.

Does Discourse have a time machine plugin I'm not aware of?
Yes, @codinghorror used it to see how the forum software of the next ten years would look.
After using Discourse to travel to the future, he found himself looking at a site with an uncanny resemblance to the site he'd been looking at moments ago, before he had left. This glimpse of the future vindicated all of his design decisions.
-

You're talking about California. Yes, they have many. Most of them, at least the most dangerous ones, ply their trade in Sacramento.

Status: spent a total of 20 minutes today insulating my roof. Currently try to remember if, when I told my friends I wanted to move in before Christmas, I mentioned a year.

trying to figure out why one of my webservers ed the bed again.
there should be no way that i get into a situation with a 15 minute load average of 500 (on a server with 2 cores)... not without malice anyway.

Eating lunch and trying to catch up in t/1000.
Done with both.
Old library contained a function; new library doesn't. Trying to figure out what the offshore devs intended be used in its place.
