Title is one of the "global" attributes (along with "id", "class", and "style") that can be on almost all elements.
Refer to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTML_attribute#Standard_attributes
-
So your expectation is a title set in < p> ripples down to < img> alt?
-
In other news, I can't make my shit work - apparently VirtualBox hates me, and I wanted to test that infinite redirect thingy.
Anyone managed to actually get it up and in the open?
-
Yup.

If you have the script I can host it.
-
Umm, here? I can run the redirect, just don't really want to test it on TDWTF - just in case.
-
Actually, I kind of want to set up a script that you post simultaniously on TDWTF and on meta discourse that when they pull local copies, they redirect to one another for eternity.
-
My expectation is the same as how other handlers work.
Innermost element for the handler, then it moves up until it finds something that handles it. In the case of title, it looks on the image, doesn't find one, moves up an element, finds it, and shows the tooltip for that.
It'll even work that way if you put a title on the <body> tag and nowhere else.

-
-
Fuck it, it's too much work trying to get one image to embed the other for display.
-
So it looks like the title a href using the mention class actually cascades down to the image class, causing the image to have an alt text title of whatever the title is in the a href.
already did it hours ago
-
albeit in a different way.
we didn't use the href on a mention
we abused their auto-connection of mentions to load JSON files off the server into a "profile" popup.
tmi :(
-
granted, in this case the file does exist. but find one that does, or get to a different server that you can host your own on instead.

What's going on with the numbers to overlap your avatar? How the heck does an approved list element do that?
-
@PJH I'm getting a 503 error trying to quote Onyxo of the night.

Why can I quote you quoting him lol
-
Incidentally:
<ol>
with a longstart
value is how you overlap the avatar. Couldn't find a way to overlap content over it though, just the number.

Works for me:

Filed under: color-changing balls; I swear I'm not stalking PJHEdit: they're all yellow now, except in quotes
-
Pictures speak louder than your whimpering
-
maybe use a non privledged account/one that wasnt migrated automagically?
-
Edit: they're all yellow now, except in quotes
Caching and/or baking (which is basically is the same thing but in a different place) to blame I think...
-
Well, at least you don't have blue balls any more.
Not sure if green is any better.

Not sure if green is any better.
I would go to the doctor for that green mold on your balls.
