I'm disappointed. I was at least expecting some naughty venn diagrams

to be fair, that hand model was practically gagging for it.
it's not our fault we bit.

Wow that's in bad taste. ROTFL!

They're claiming it's just aged that way and there's no stain.
Claiming.
-
Plausible deniability has never been less plausible.
-
Apparently people believe this.
-
I can't decide if it's funnier that people believe that stuff or that it's a parody of people who believe that sort of thing. And by that sort of thing, I mean lots of contradictory things.
The site itself is a WTF, too.

CONSTANT SCROLL!?!?!?!?!
I felt sick after the first paragraph

Now I want to watch Star Wars.

Yeah... I was waiting for an 'April Fools' or a 'Gotcha!' trollface at the end of the page. Nope. I think they might be serious. Then again, I'm hardly surprised at this.

I had to open the console and disable javascript to read this in comfort. The all caps impact font was bad enough already.

Don't make me break out the Firefox Flip3D again...
Too late.

Yeah, as serious as this sort of dingbat can be:
-
“It’s about recognizing how our relationships and what we thought were protected spaces of interiority or our privacy or agency as subjects is the new farm or a source of value extraction and accumulation for capital. That freaks me out.”
TDEMSYR
“I guess we’re starting to ask the question together of what a digital justice movement might look like,” said Ptak.
Stupid, apparently, is the answer.

But where is my wage for giving them free Google AnalYtics data?
-
You Don't Get It. See, we do it now, but we don't get a wage. But if they gave us a wage, then we would stop. Because CAPITAL.

Yes, it's a legitimate (edit: UK government web-) page - it's not been hacked.
Yes, the URL is genuine and an indication about what the Press Release is about.

sane political discussion
No such thing. Political discussion is a sub-topic of its own under "Bad Ideas".

And, there we see why ( as an example ) Reductio Ad Absurdum is not necessarily a logical fallacy: see the end product of infini-scroll! Muahahahaha…
Plus the TDEMSYR aspect of all that TL;DR crap.

Beer is hardly the most efficient way to get drunk. I have been known to drink rum and vodka
I rarely drink, but when I do it's either wine or brandy (Slivovitz)

Oooh, speaking of doctors and getting back on topic: My doctor bumped me up to a better painkiller starting today
The pre-work involves reading articles about EI. One of them includes the following caveat: "It's important to emphasize that building one's emotional intelligence cannot -- will not -- happen without sincere desire and concerted effort. A brief seminar won't help."
We're using an interesting model in which we capitalize our new software projects and major enhancements so we're actually building capital instead of being a cost center... which doesn't work well for us because bugfixing is therefore penalized since it's not capitalizable.
Wow, no wonder you need those painkillers!
-
I'm not even talking about psychiatric medication. This is for a chronic and persistent sinus/nasal/eye infection I've been battling for a year and a half now. No one can tell me what's wrong and no one can find an antibiotic or anything that actually does anything. All we know for sure is it's not cancer because a C-T scan showed nothing abnormal. My bank account isn't happy either.
Just a guess: Have you tried going gluten free? Sometimes it's what's in the food that's affecting you.
-Insert rant about Monsanto screwing with our food supply here.-

Haha. That's funny because they don't even work for the reason they're prescribed very well U_U I'm still in pain >.>
