Modern Office Architecture

Holy shit, I didn't know about that. That is fucking tragic.

Karma is a bitch.

This reminds me of the Michigan Theater. Detroit is insane.
That is fucking tragic.
Wasn't that a pre-1986 construction anyway? It was due for replacement - if progress demands a quonset hut then it must have it, regardless what antique is taking up the land, no?

Goddammit you fucking retards.

I find boredom worse than stress.
I call that "an excellent time to brush up on new skills".

And they took this beautiful work of art and turned it into a parking garage
Anybody who does that should be pureed to make adhesive for new flooring.

Nah! Such a drastic reaction would not be justified, so they would not be able to make it stick.

When I read this, I had an OBB™ post in mind, by the time I got a few replies in, I thought it would be insensitive and unfair.
However, for the sake of posterity and in the spirit of the OP:
"...they have windows in the basements of new buildings now?"
:)

Why not turned into acoustic tiles?
Betcha that HVAC is a piece of Linux hardware.
"...they have windows in the basements of new buildings now?"
I see what you did there.

That was in a movie - damn, can't remember which one - but there was a big fight in the ceiling and the bad guy fell to the floor (on top of a car of course) and died.

It's almost as if the architects have never had to sit in one of their shitty designs and work.
Why do believe that they used actual expensive architects to design the building? It'll just be one of those shitty ones with the design picked straight out of a book, with no actual thought put into how it works. Both cheap and nasty.
