Dude! Just because that emoticon is an indecipherable multi-colored useless piece of shit doesn't mean you should insult it by comparing it to Discourse.

Can we just have
:postmodernism:
as a single new emoji and then call it a day?

So just yesterday I was having a discussion about what the most appropriate emoji to use whe disparaging your own penis size (I have literally no idea where that line of discussion came from, and I don't really want to)
We settled on 🤔.

Am I missing a font, or did you really choose that character?

Works on Android. Lemme see if the discoSeabiscuit (autocorrect have me that awesome word for discoemoji) exists...
-
Nope, no discomoji for thinking face (U+1F914)
This is the Android rendering, which is kinda hilarious:

You can install the fonts @PJH lists here and then use a CSS extension like Stylebot to apply the third CSS block in this post by @abarker.
This allows Chrome (and probably other browsers) to render most Unicode characters correctly.

TTF really needs graphical characters for this shit. Or at least vector color and fills. The mobile renderings are SO much more amusing.
And I say this as a person who works in print and basically lives and breathes fonts. The day is coming that some cocksucker is going to want me to print nice, attractive, colorful emoji, and I really don't want to have to dick with substituting images inline into text, because that's a fucking cunt and a half.

Yeah, "Facepalm", what an irony.

Hihi ... poep ...
Well that explains why Discourse didn't parse my emoji.

Kindergarten humour.
