YADWTF (apparently an invalid title)

Since the bugs section is now closed, I think I'll just post it here as a WTF...
"Preview 0 comments" - really?

YADTWF
the daily wtf for young adults.
It contains hip and with-it articles with mild adult themes suitable for those aged 12+.
-
10/10 would read.
especially if @algorythmics was chief editor of that edition
-
-
I thought it was 13?
Unrelated, YA tends to be linked to the start of puberty, which tends to be considered to be 12~ (for boys, who are all that matter)

He said 12+, not 21+.

Was around 8 for me. I reached my full adult size by age 12.
Is this how the pedantic dickweed fishing thing is supposed to work?

I thought girls were the primary market for YA fiction? If things like The Hunger Games or Twilight are actually targeted at boys, youth culture has changed a lot more than I thought.

Sounds more like a DSW to me...
-
Twilight are actually targeted at boys
I literally twitched when I read this part. That's never happened before.
DSW
Down Syndrome whale? Dung-sucking weevil? Droning saxophone window?

You should know by now to use UD as the first port of call for unfamiliar terms on here...
-
See, these threats of violence are why no one will ever take you seriously. If only you would settle down and peacefully accept eternal inferiority and servitude, everyone would consider your complaints with a lot more weight. Right now you are just acting like a spoiled child stamping their feet and threatening a tantrum.
Filed Under: Is the satire obvious yet?

I try to avoid UD as a rule.
-

It was a nice bit of trolling on your part, though. I hit the Like jar on that one.

[strike]Well played... you got me ranting really good there.
I'm lucky the puppy distracted me half way through or i would have posted something i would have regretted.

I had to do another molt around 14, by the age 12 molt, my fifth eye hadn't finished developing.
Er. Wait. I mean... I did... human things! Like a human would! Hey look at that local sports team over there!
-
Was that thing made for smashing these?
-
among other things.

I don't think there's any age at which reading @algorythmics's writing become appropriate.
-
-
I read something like "You can still post here but it will not be read". That's what I meant.
-
It appears to be being read by the Discodevs, it just isn't 'official' any more.
Feel free to move the topic over there if you want...

How about if you're using it to kill off an elderly loved one who just won't let go and has your inheritance in escrow?
I mean, theoretically.

They start telling you about those "clubs" they used to go to during the 20s and ask you if you have any more?
-
I would, if I knew how, but Discourse would probably eat it and the thread would vanish.
-

Is that a Britishism? Because I'm not sure you're allowed to use Britishisms with us North Americans. I believe it's right there in NATO. Which, if you are British, you would pronounce NATTO, because British people are "the piss" like that.
Also, my thing was a joke. I'm not sure what your thing is, but that's what my thing was. So then you took me seriously, which just ruined it all. Well, thank you for that. Well done.
-

I'm born british, but I don't understand him either. Not something I recognise.
-
Yeah. None the wiser here.
Maybe it's a whoosh on my part.
-
Not British so can't blame that. More likely a badly presented joke on my part. Allow me to explain:
-
you present @algorythmics writings to your elderly relatives hoping the shock value will cause a timely coronary
-
said elderly relative surprises you by thoroughly enjoying the stories and starts recounting tales of things they got up to in their youth that no one in their right minds ever likes to picture their elderly relatives doing
-
they ask you for more writings, this emoji ends up being appropriate
-
