Just this thread, or the whole forum?

For those who haven't seen the video, but want to know what happens, without watching. the spoiler below is for you, is not safe for work, and should only be read by those of a strong constitution.
One man sodomises himself on a glass jar, then the jar breaks whilst inside. then the man slowly picks bloody shards of glass out of his ruined sphincter.
Just this thread (yay for toasters). There are approximately 72,400 posts on this forum in total, of which approximately 6,200 are mine, meaning that I don't even account for 10% of [s]DCisTRWTF[/s] WTDWTF.
Yet, anyway.
-
That's almost disappointing - although probably not for you.
-
I find it quite a relief that I don't dominate this place as much as I could have.
Getting to even 10% would be extremely disturbing.

How did you arrive at this figure?
-
I dug into the HTML markup looking for post ids.
Your post here has a data-post-id of 72442. While that figure includes PMs and hidden areas, it's still a decent enough guide to the overall size of the site in terms of order of magnitude and even allowing for deletions I wouldn't expect this site to have even 5% variance from that figure. We just don't delete enough to account for it.
-
Ah, that makes sense.
-
It's one of the few things in Discourse that does, and it explains how come we managed to get two posts in a topic with the same 'post number' in the topic because they still had unique internal ids.
-
As of this posting, 17 hours after yours, there are 72473 posts according to the

And 325,174 likes.

Please... They have a tiny 16.3 likes per user while we have 300.9 likes per user.
EDIT: in fact, look at the likes per post ratio. This whole forum should be a super hot heatmap™.
-
The hottest thread is ice cold baby.
-
WHOA.
BoingBoing has got you beat on like count. You guys are a bunch of SLACKERS.
Of course it has us beat, they have like 20-odd times the users we do, even if we just look at the recently active subset, it's still a good 5-6x what we do - so all things considered, I'm happy with that

Yes, @PJH had to pump up the ratios to prevent the topic lists from burning down the server.

Well of course they have. They had a year's head start on us.
-
So what you're saying is we should infiltrate their forums, start reproducing some of these bugs, and let them complain instead of us?
-
Sounds like they need a like bomb bot!
-
boingboing is nothing but a bunch of yesmen morons if it has done more liking than we have.
or they're gaming the thing as hard as we are.
-
Or a year and a magnitude of users on us?
-
oh. i clicked the link finally (i didn't really care to see boingboing) - I see now that they have as many topics as we have total posts.
-
or they're gaming the thing as hard as we are.
Unlikely. ISTR that while Jeff upped their like limit, it's nowhere near as high as ours.
Which reminds me...

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
