That's odd, I didn't know that AMD had added segments back into long mode. It's unbelievable, but x64 is even messier than I thought. Also, the virtualization extensions are slow if you use them for everything, but quite useful if used properly and faster than VMWare's dynamic recompilation.

Yeah, but if you're running a low-end budget chip, you have no business running 64-bit virtual machines. Useful information the AMD64 long mode segments, though, thanks.

That might work because then it's almost like a graphic. I think a glitter graphic would be most effective, though.
