See, I told you those are balls!
I blame myself for not being more familiar with canid anatomy of smaller breeds. More study will be required later it seems.

If in doubt, ask a certified biologist. I think we have one around.

Oh sweet! Can I borrow it? I could probably have it returned by tomorrow!
Um, this "biologist" isn't a "person", is it?

person
That's still debated. Seriously, didn't you get the memo with the latest flamewar memes?

latest flamewar memes?
I've been too busy to read the flamewar threads, despite them consistently being updated.
Heck, I'm still working on dwindling my current Unread Posts list here...
-
I'm hopelessly behind this week. There's too much work interfering with my TDWTF reading.

I feel your pain ... I even took a bad room break to just keep up

a bad room
You have a bad room in your office? Is it really bad or just a bit naughty?
-
It's definitely terrible at spellaring. Maybe it's accalia'd.
-
That's it, I'm muting it. You guys ruined Funny Stuff with the upskirt pics and now the super closeup of dog balls. It's over. Done.

So you like neither vaginas nor balls. That's kind of weird - usually people like one of those.

It's not that he doesn't like them, just that they're not funny (I guess).
Quick someone post an imgir picture (that I can't see through the firewall) so we can entice @Blakeyrat back!

You're talking to just the right person. To be fair, though, most people here are allergic to Ctrl+V.

Sorry, not enough resources available to grok this.
This is probably a direct result of my current system status... I'll try to be quiet for now.

Here's a little advice: all the males have balls if they haven't been removed. Generally two to a customer.

now the super closeup of dog balls.
...he's probably just jealous he didn't think of it first.

Considering the low quality and i'm-on-mobile state at the time, I was basing the assumption from the overall shape. Snap judgement, so Sue.

"Your argument is invalid. Get over it. Find a job."
Now that is a mic drop.
Of course there's a ton of morons in the comments, disagreeing with him.

Off topic; there's nothing funny about that.

It's both funny and sad, in a way.

Yeah, I can't even with her despicable ableism when she goes ranting on the colorblind in our society.
Also, technoconical?

"I bet you don't even know what you identify as".
Sure she does, "not a dipshit".

JET FUEL DIDN'T MELT THE STEEL BEAMS!!!!
Oddly enough, the kind of fucktard who would say that probably can't be educated that nobody ever claimed it did. The steel structure of the building sagged past the point where it could hold up the weight of the rest of the building.

The person who posted that on reddit said she's obsessed with adding the prefix "techno-" to things. Also, on the topic of tumblr people:

Then what's she got against parabolas and shit? Polynomial is so close to polynormal, you'd think she'd be all over that.

It's actually quite funny but I genuinely thought this was a funny meme until recently. I thought people were taking the piss out of the tinfoil hat brigade but was astonished to learn that people actually believed it.JET FUEL DIDN'T MELT THE STEEL BEAMS!!!!

As early as 2002--shit, probably some loon woke up on 9/12/01 thinking it--people were claiming it must have been a controlled demolition.
Anyone who thinks that's even plausible should be locked into a straightjacket.

9/12/01
It took me a second to realize you're using American dates. December? What kind of loon was looking at a Christmas tree and suddenly decided that it was an inside job. But then again this is a thing

Thanks for calling up my attention to today's Google Doodle. It's nice.

Heh. Why would I use the other format?

Indeed, although his birthday was actually yesterday — probably. There is no record of his actual birth. There is a record of his baptism, 245 years ago today, and it was the custom at the time and place to baptize babies on the day following birth. It is also known that his family and music teacher celebrated his birthday on 16 Dec., so pretty much everyone (except Google, apparently) accepts that as his birth date.
Just out of curiosity, did anybody else try piecing the music together, and how many tries did it take you to get it right?

ISO 8601
While, technically, that probably is something that could be called "an answer", it's hardly responsive.
And this isn't a formal setting, either.

I did. It's easy if you know how to read music, although I cheated a bit and made it play some bits out of laziness.

I got the Symphony No. 5 right on the first try; it took me two tries for each of the others. I'd probably have done better if there were a submit button, rather than starting automatically when you drag the last piece into place; I'd have been more easily able to recognize that something was out-of-order. Also if I weren't trying to do it quickly, because I have stuff to do this morning.
made it play some bits out of laziness.
Only Sonata No. 14 ("Moonlight"), because even with all the Beethoven that was on the radio yesterday, I hadn't heard it (or Bagatelle in A minor, but it's easier to remember) recently. I didn't have it play any of the individual measures.

Schools Closed in Virginia District After Uproar Over Arabic Calligraphy Lesson
Islamic faith statement outrages county parentsThought leader:
Kimberly Herndon, an Augusta County parent who organized the event, began the discussion and said that by having students write "indoctrination," LaPorte took away the students' right of religious freedom.
"That's why we need to join together," Herndon said. "If my truth can not be spoken in schools, I don't want false doctrine spoken in schools. That's what keeps it even across the board."
Why it was closed:
Since then, the school system has received so many calls and emails that Sheriff Randall Fisher advised schools to close, the statement from the district said.
"The communications have significantly increased in volume [Thursday], and based on concerns regarding the tone and content of those communications, Sheriff Fisher and Dr. Bond mutually decided schools and school offices will be closed," the district said.

by having students write "indoctrination,"
Like the word "indoctrination"? Like "التلقين"? That looks like a poorly-made hand-held menorah.

It was badly worded. She meant, "indoctrinating texts".
