Mobile not updated to newlevator.
-
-
That's not an iPhone, YDIW etc.
-
Mobile bike shed not repainted: Feature, not bug.
-
-
WTF, is that Jeff's equivalent of 'HTH, HAND'?
-
It's Jeff for "It's shitter on mobile, I'm not sorry about this".
-

Someone should remind him of this ...
-
And I only now noticed that their version number on their homepage is in fact rainbow-colored.
-
For now. Also the "Conversations not pages " thing still features the old/mobile newlevator.
-
-
And their topic list screenshots don't have polar bear stripes yet, either!
-
Of course it would, even Discodevs are not stupid enough to update all their screenshots every time they make a UI "improvement".
-
-
I think they're always somewhat behind on new screenshots, though in this case, they may only be doing screenshots for their "stable" branch.
-
-
Apparently fixed now.
But I can't upload my screenshot. Screw you duckwhores.
-
Yeah it's blue too.
Seems uploading a screenshot from mobile is broken though.

I was also confirming, and got different results.

Discoursisent!

Discoursisent!
Based on additional information (OS, browser) we concluded that it is a browser update issue that affects Chrome on Lollipop, but not on KitKat. Apparently the discodevs became aware of the issue some other way as it is fixed on meta.d
-
Lollipop
KitKat
Android has the only versioning system I know of where I need to sing the alphabet in my head to tell which version comes before another. Why can't they just call it version 11 or 12?
-
Internally, they have numbered API levels ...
-
I didn't expect their API to go based on string comparison, although I have been wrong about these sorts of things before...

I see you don't use Ubuntu or Linux Mint.
-

It doesn't. The Android version is a string; the API level is an integer.
5.0 is API level 21.
-
Android Lollipop = Android 5.
Android KitKat = Android 4.4.
-
-
What will the next Android code name be?
Dibs on Mousse.
-
Mars? They've done KitKat, after all
-
They've used KitKat before, so Mars Bar?
edit: FUCK. by like a second.
-
-
I 'd your at least :P
-
Not on my screen!
-
Mars is ambiguous though, unlike KitKat.
But Mars Bar could work. I'd still prefer Mousse.
-
What about Milkybar? Or Munchies?
-
MAMMARIES

Here's a better question: what are they going to do in 6 versions when they get to Q?

It's Google. They'll probably spend the next couple of years inventing a new kind of dessert that they'll name something with a Q.
Qocolate Quiche?
-
Apparently, there's a confectionary brand called 'Quirks'
Edit: Not sure if this is the right thing, but:
-
MARSHMALLOW!

-
What about Milkybar?
Is that a Milky Way? Because that's more likely than whatever a Milkybar is or a Mars bar (which hasn't been much of a thing in the US in decades).
-
Quite different ;)
-
The internal code name for Android M is Macadamia Nut Cookie but that will likely change.
-
Nestle are bad at chocolate, though.
-
Milky Way:
(Yes, the European one is different to the US one)Milkybar:

I thought about macadamia nuts for some reason, but felt it wouldn't be sweet enough. Now I'm wondering if I read that somewhere and promptly forgot.

The US Milky Way is pretty similar to the European Mars Bar. A US Mars Bar was something different.
