Flower bulbs are not vegetables

Couldn't decide which ideas topic to put this in so I decided to start a thread instead.
A news article here (Dutchland) today tells that British supermarket owners have been instructed that decorative flower bulbs (narcissus, to be precise) should not be put next to the vegetable section. Apparently customers mistake them for onions. Which is a problem because they're poisonous.
