And you totally cannot commit before you finish, especially since you're using the best tool on the market when it comes to branching and merging that also has squash feature.
I do. Every night I push my changes to a repository on the network drive and then squash those commits before updating the central repository when I'm done with a new feature. I’m not an idiot and I know how to use git.
I’m not saying there is no way to work around Visual Studio’s stupidity. I just wanted to express my frustration about that stupid “trusted files” warning message that caused me to set up two different repositories in the first place.
