I originally tried to sort them on the server-side, but that had the unfortunate side-effect of expanding all 1500 Nice Post badges that you have.
Yeah, that was a no-go. They're sorted clientside, while the server does the grouping.
I probably could've used a subquery, but whatever.

That was my first title candidate, but there's not much more to sort. Sadly.

Oh no! I'm not happy! I'm on TDWTF I'll rant about anything I damn well please, thank you!
After all we're sticking to our strong point of doing it wrong over here.

We are the reason you did an @Arantor ?
Thanks for sorting the badges, though. What are they sorted (and then grouped) by. Time of Creation → Badgelevel?
Filed Under: How much more sorted can you make them?
-
I can understand that. Looks good to me
-
I'm guessing according to the
- badges page grouping >
- badge level >
- alphabetically
(the last going by the 2^n and INB4 badges)
-
file: app/assets/javascripts/discourse/controllers/user-badges.js.es6
export default Ember.ArrayController.extend({ sortProperties: ['grouping_position', 'badge.badge_type.sort_order', 'badge.name', 'badge.id'] });
where
grouping_position
isuser_badge.badge.badge_grouping.position
In other words - yes.
