Chrome breaking the UI... again

Apologies, Discourse ate my sarcasm tag.
Eh...I was still just too angry at the realization to notice. At least we can agree on ALT+dragging.
-
And Chrome 35 on Linux has broken single dimension maximizing in KDE. Had to switch back to using the system title bar and borders to get that back. Fuck you chrome.
...aaaaand Chrome 37 fixed it. Life is...better.

I abandoned Chrome for desktop when it refused to let me run the YouTube Center extension "for my safety". I suggest you all look up some alternatives (even if chromium-based) if you appreciate being able to run stuff in your own computer that your overlords don't approve of.
For android though, all of the alternatives I've tried seem to be pretty shitty.

Without reading comments. .. They also took away your home button.
Oh hey, nice necro boom.
And upload exists on mobile but not desktop discourse.

They also took away your home button.
Did you actually use it? Or was it something that sat there, indicating that you could use it at any time if you wanted, but which actually was never clicked on except by accident?
(If you want to go home, open a new tab…)
He was just comparing before and after. I went with the more obvious.

Mine is still there:
Did you actually use it?
I do, although my home page is just google. But it gives me a consistent place to click to open a new tab and start a search. I really hat that FF moved the refresh button to where I never remember to look for it (at least partly because I mostly use chrome).

meh, youtube-dl is good enough for me. It reassembles DASH videos too, so you get downloaded 1080p.
(and then when I go to play the video,
mpv
tells me that my graphics card sucks and the video is lagging...)

This is the main — pretty much only — reason I ever use FF any more.

Yeah, if it worked in Chrome, either.

Linux is the problem here
-
By the way, when did Chrome start switching the focus to the field-formerly-known-as-addressbar when you click on the search field on Google page?
It's been doing that for at least a couple versions now. Win 8.1 x64.
ETA: GODDAMMIT DISCURSE. Necroed again!

The 'Classic Theme Restorer' addon lets you put it back on the left where it belongs, in addition to getting rid of Australis if you so desire.

I wanted to link to the thread where the "Unfuck Firefox" extension was originally mentioned, but it seems like I can't access the old forums.

but it seems like I can't access the old forums.
Me neither. So either the big switch is happening or something's broken.
-
I noticed that last night, too, and was wondering about it. @apapadimoulis, what's up?
-
I blame Chrome. I’m sure it works fine in IE11!
-
Good to go with telnet!

Mine is still there:

Ah, indeed, I have the "Show Home button" setting checked. I probably did that a long time ago and forgot about it.
