@DogsB the real question that the headline doesn't get at: we might be facing Taylor Swift fatigue but is that better or worse than Apple Swift fatigue?
You really do have a knack for giving us the willies.

Good to know that all this time I spent learning to cope with PHP has proven useful in one way then!

Exciting news!
Your accusations that I only posted this for the pun are completely founded.

From the article:
It could be used, for example, to build an nuclear clock that could measure time more precisely than the best atomic clocks available today.
Because that's totally a thing that's needed. Atomic clocks are famous for their low degree of precision, afterall...
-
@Mason_Wheeler and we build them because high precision clocks are not particularly useful.

You know, the headline of this thread only specifies that you MUST read the headline. It doesn't specify anything about reading the body of the article one way or the other

It doesn't even say that you must. It's really more of a guideline than an actual rule.

Status: Daydreaming about having that in my future, far away from anything running computers.
Addendum: Preferably somewhere I don't even know what a Taylor Swift is.

@loopback0 I had to google that.

Probably a bit too soon but was it reattached or did they give up and attach something else?

Probably was the hand. The NHS doesn’t offer cybernetic upgrades as far as I know, so no cool arm cannon or anything like that.

The performance of the natural materials is really very good. Bionic replacements tend to be worse than the originals; they're not upgrades. (If they had a plasma blaster concealed within the arm, that would be different, and much cooler...)

But here I am, left with nothing but my Padme face and a broken dream.
