This train will stop at:
- Microsoft Edge
- Email and accounts
- Snipping Tool
Then all stations to Settings.
(If there’s a thread for these occurrences, I couldn’t find it.)

@kazitor I have an computerized sign down where my bus is that usually shows a Windows desktop or login screen instead of bus times. Although the past two days it has had an EFI shell prompt instead.
-
What about cleaning up the desktop icons?
-
A feral window appears:
-
@accalia at least, this one won't reboot without your consent while you're using it

this is true, but its security features are rather lacking. the bugs just come on through like it's not even there.
.... come to think of that that's actually not a downside, that's just feature parity.
-
And I encountered a hard-to-photo incident of the official town welcome/what's happening sign displaying part of a post-update "it's time to configure your device".

Transport for London is the worst for this. If you're on the underground you'll see a bluescreen or desktop/shell at least once a journey. I would demand a refund if I had bought advertisement space at London Bridge. The screens on the escalators are usually displaying a desktop.
To be fair those advertisements work well when on. It's where I learn about new plays that might be good to watch.

The timetable was still on EFI, so…
Goddammit, now I need to try to remember the archaic commands to manually summon my bus to the correct destination …
