I’m only 40, haven’t quite earned my yet, let alone the title of boomer.
-
@Arantor if most things in "you're old if you can remember..." posts are things that you don't remember but simply things that you always ever lived with (and/or still do), then you've earned your first .

You wouldn't want to be known as a cut-price Irish version of Dangermouse.

From the assembly instructions for the workbench that was delivered today:
With the help of a friend or trustworthy foe, carefully remove the work bench from the packaging.
Are any of y'all trustworthy?
Assembly time can take 2–4 hours depending on skill level. We suggest taking a break part way through to enjoy a beverage of your choice.
Workbench by Escher.

Probably
We suggest taking a break part way through to enjoy a beverage of your choice.
If that beverage contains alcohol, @DogsB seems like the perfect candidate
-
@TimeBandit said in Things that remind you of WDTWTF members:
If that beverage contains alcohol,
That was implied by the Escher-esque result. Not my choice of beverage, but it certainly reminded me of (most of) you.
@DogsB seems like the perfect candidate
@Polygeekery's considerably closer.
-
@HardwareGeek Yeah, but is your house fireproof?

Good point, but it isn't proof against a drunk Irishman, either.

I was definitely thinking about the geographic sense. @Polygeekery is in the US, somewhere in or near Pennsylvania, I think, which isn't particularly close to , but it's much closer than Ireland.

And they are not wrong. They have beaches. But with an orthographic issue.
