We need to elect a politician named Delivers Remarks

Seriously WTF is the reason for all public appearances of politicians reported under the title "XY delivers remarks"? It could be "XY speaks" or "XY gives a speech" or a hundred other things.
-
@marczellm Maybe this guy should run for office:

I suspect Copy/Paste. People are just trying to get their shit "content" out as quickly as possible.

This isn't a "politician" but someone involved in intelligence.
I remember being so confused by the name Reality Winner. It was complete Who's on first for me.

Interesting - I would say that "XY slams Z" or "XY rips Z" or "XY destroys Z" are way, way more common lately. And way, way worse, because in 99% cases, there is no actual slamming, ripping nor destroying involved.

Fair enough, but why would her parents to that to her a name her Reality when her last name is Winner?
These all sound far more normal. (Not completely normal because Winner as last name IME is rare.)
Mary Winner
Liz Winner
Ashley WinnerYou get the idea.

Because Reality is more acceptable first name than Lottery or Worldcup.

When I was a young kid, my grandparents had friends whose surname was First.
Guy was named Safety First. (Might have been a nickname; it's the only name I ever heard used for him.) He had two sisters: May First, June First.
