@boomzilla The arrows in the onebox image are important. Wouldn't have known which was the goat without them.

@Vixen those big running hounds are wack. I'd bet most of them don't get nearly enough exercise 90% of the time.

having owned a greyhound in the past (and boy do i miss her) I can tell you that yes, most dogs let alone working breeds like greyhounds what are bred for running do not get enough exercize.
Mine did, but that was because she wanted to hunt the fox so often...... so we both got a lot of exercise......

One of the many reasons I won't own a dog. I'm way too lazy to give it proper exercise, and I'd hate for it to suffer as a result. Or destroy my house.

FWIW from what I've heard greyhounds are nice couch potatos.
Like cheetahs they are sprinters, not marathon runners.
-
@Zecc that just means they have two settings. Lump and tornado. Which makes it worse. Can't do nice sedate walks or play gently very well. But I may be wrong there.

In my experience they have three speeds: Lump, amiable meander, LUDICROUS SPEED. GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@error_bot giphy They've gone to plaid
generally speaking greyhounds are very people oriented and like to be around people. If you get a retired racer they'll likely have some issues because racing does bad things to their psyche, but with patience and time that sorts itself out soon eonough.
Our greyhound was gentle enough that we only had one part of the house she'd scratch at (the back door to be let in/out, and then only once or twice before she'd wait paitiently for someone to let her in/out) and was a total sweetheart with the kittens we fostered. She loved to lick their butts and let them use her as a junglegym. which is impressive because kitten knife claws and all that....
