Actually, that's not so. On at least a few occasions, specific flaws in SSDS code have been pointed out. In some posts, people have demonstrated how to implement parts of SSDS functionality using sane code. I'd estimate that posts with some useful knowledge sharing may make up as much as 1% of the total. Not more than that, though. 0.05% may be closer.

Please do try video. Find a Friend with a CamCorder whatever. Video is what SSDS does best. That.. along with the way I use the rest of the features; is a beauty to behold. Pure power to access all my data... Dumpster dive and get that Free PC.
For video all you need to know is set the time; Offload your video and clear away the old stuff. If the aspect ratio bugs you then look that up. A remote is very handy as well. Just shoot and shoot. What fun when you don't have to know a ton.

"Get Your Goat" Spectate the past with SSDS
Maybe I'll even bust a move or two on those "Get your Goat" videos. I was listening to a Christian-music Radio Station a couple days ago. I started substituting "Medicine Stones" and "Great Spirit" for Jesus and the Lord and I got pretty psyched-up. Almost had to stop the vehicle right there and do a spin and a twirl. I'm a pretty poor dancer; being all charged up like that could only make it Waaay worse. You'll see.

A practical joke or troll of this magnitude also hints at very real psychiatric issues. What separates Spectate from the likes of Remi, Ed Bassmaster, and Ted Nancy is Spectate seems to do it only for his benefit, with no real monetary or even fame goals. The rest are surreal entertainers who clearly do it for others' enjoyment and do make a living off of it. The closest a "professional prank artist" is to Spectate might be Longmont Potion Castle, which falls off the deep end on disturbing and surreal pranks, but even he has released CD's in the 1990s, proving that he has some kind of goals to actually capitalize off of it.
None of these other guys have run for public office, written thousands of lines of crap code, and spent their last 4 years trolling forums about it. Most pranks have, at most, a month of preparation and last a week tops. This has been going on for so long it's become an obsession for Spectate.
All of this assuming, of course, Spectate is really doing this for the lulz. I've done my share of light-hearted trolling in the past and I get bored of it very easily and move on. I think there are very few people who have the patience and persistance to carry on a troll thread for years and years, especially at Spectate's age.
Keep in mind, I am not saying that you have to be making money off of it in order for it to be "sane." But if more than 25% of your waking hours are devoted to annoying and pranking people on the same exact thing for no apparent reason, then something is wrong and you need your head examined. If this were a publicity stunt or some kind of a gag that sells books or CDs, we would have seen something come out of this by now.

I wouldn't be totally shocked if in fact we've been communicating with a team of specially trained experimental psychologists (and/or their grad students) who happen to have access to the footage of a real-life crazy Canadian who moved on with his life many years ago.
However, I choose to believe that we are indeed making fun of a potentially mentally-ill/handicapped but certainly delusional dinosaur stoner.

His screen reshoots, though, have that same face and voice we see in the Yellowhead Yellowhead Yellowhead video. Also, we can find out if specially trained experimental psychologists are indeed behind this, because anything that has been ongoing for this long would require grant money, which AFAIK is public information. Perhaps we should investigate this theory.

Depends on where the funds are coming from, if secrecy is part of this there are ways to circunvent disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act
