@anotherusername I'd try too look up your posts in one of grumpy cats topics, to see if it's plausible. Maybe GIS the avatar itself.
Your username just feels way too long for that avatar.
Edit: GIS failed.

Sure, but that's not a curated list. I know 'live bookmarks' is not exactly what tabs are for but it works great for me.

1.Download sample from github
2. Follow MS Docs
3. Does not work
4. Search for the error message
5. Another developer has reported the exact same issue.
6. Dev from MS team says it works sometimes, sometimes it does not
7. Dev from MS team says it works for them but not for their colleague
8. Dev from MS says it is breaking and is trying to find out where's the problem
9. Dev from MS says everything is working now
10. Dev from MS closes the Issue. What went wrong? No idea. What went right? No idea.
Throw in changing docs and so many version mismatch fuckery like the version numbers in docs, templates, product versions, actual working versions are all over the fucking place.
Meanwhile the issue is still there. I am starting to think MS employs people who either don't give a fuck, not competent enough or are simply too dense to figure out they gotta fix an issue before closing it not close it because it works for them
I hate my fucking life.

Let's see, there's one for corporates (formerly Office 365 Video, the ones @TimeBandit posted):
And one that "competes" with Twitch:
And, of course, one you can build yourself:

e: I just realized that sending it back in time would make it arrive earlier, and that I probably need to get one of them afternoon coffees.

Yes. Yes, it does. @ben_lubar, please make the red boob go away again. Although I think somebody posted some custom CSS to do that individually while waiting for a site fix.

410 Gone
Indicates that the resource requested is no longer available and will not be available again. This should be used when a resource has been intentionally removed and the resource should be purged. Upon receiving a 410 status code, the client should not request the resource in the future. Clients such as search engines should remove the resource from their indices.[43] Most use cases do not require clients and search engines to purge the resource, and a "404 Not Found" may be used instead.
Perhaps there has been an intermediate or otherwise supplementary RFC or perhaps somebody is making shit up on Wikipedia.
-
@Gribnit said in The Official Status Thread:

:gasp: No!
Either way, their cite points to the other authoritative source:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xp5Nf8ANfOwSummary: Googlebot will check a 404 page again after 24 hours, and won't for a 410. Which actually means that "Clients such as search engines should remove the resource from their indices."
This is why you should check the citations on Wikipedia pages, I guess.

I did. Just try-tried again.
But then since I increased the timeout detection threshold, it ended up being continuously uploaded. Didn't detect that until an hour later and wondered why it was taking so long.

Status: this network printer apparently needs to hijack the phone line, because ethernet was too difficult? I'd be less annoyed if the specifications did't say "ethernet" everywhere.
I worry I'm completely mistaken about what "ethernet" actually means.
Update: oh hurrah I finally found the hidden LAN port! Talk about useless documentation and user-hostile design. Rather than putting it on the case like the power and phone lines, it's hidden inside after lifting up the scanner. And the user guides do not make this clear at all.
