Re: 15 years of NCIX customer data available for sale
Hey, wait a minute. Isn't NCIX a comic book that was turned into a TV show?
-
Couldn't one of the X-men read minds? How much investigating did they need to do?

read minds
Only sometimes, and only when it was inconvenient.

That's the one where they solve crimes against nonbinary sailors in the Navy right?

Why can Professor X move things with his mind --- but he can't move his legs?
-
@El_Heffe can professor X move things with his mind? Never seen him do that. Granted, I've never read the comics - only movies and animated series.
-
@Gąska I don't think he did, he's 'just' a powerful telepath.

I thought one of the characters could do that. I thought it was him. Could be wrong. I vaguely remember one of the early movies, that's about it.
-
@El_Heffe it was Jean Grey who had telekinesis. She too had the psychic mind-reading powers, so I understand the confusion.
-
@Gąska Why didn't he just command her telepathically to use her power to move his legs then?
-
@pie_flavor how would you feel if someone moved your legs?
-
@Gąska depends on how pretty she is
-
@Benjamin-Hall I hate you for the mental image of those two characters.
-
@Gąska If I was mentally controlling someone else's ability to move them, I would feel like I was moving my own legs.

I don't have a mental image of Jean Grey and Professor X, to me, is Patrick Stewart, so .

I guess its like those psychics who don't know that you're going to call them

He was able to read and control minds. I think his own bodily handicap was sort of a side effect of his mental power, actually.

And Magneto, but he could only move metallic objects.

The lag probably would've been disorienting (like trying to speak when you're hearing a delayed playback of your voice). And it probably would've also temporarily prevented her from using her power or at least impaired her ability to do so. The results probably wouldn't have been worth the effort.

Did he have any feeling in his legs? The paralysis could mean there's no feeling in them, in which case he'd feel nothing if she moved them.
