What if the solution to energy crisis is to un-burn things in such a way that it releases more energy?
Lucky 8 Ball thinks that's... Unlikely

I have literally no idea if we can engineer in desired imperfections; the focus of low-level silicon manufacturing is very much about getting rid of them.
This caused me to have a stupid idea: What if the solution to energy crisis is to un-burn things in such a way that it releases more energy?
I apologise for my current brain-dead-ness.

@Steve_The_Cynic Thank you Mr Cynic for necro-ing this thread. Wow. @Tsaukpaetra is there an emoji for :brutal:?
The project appears to be complete as of 2020-07. http://users.atw.hu/gerigeri/DawnOS/history.html

What is the emotion to be conveyed behind this instance?

@Tsaukpaetra I'm still YMBNH, and therefore I'm not understanding . What I meant is that your 2018 take-down was epic. Among the best I've read on TDTDWTF. The OP stated:
Dawn operating system is finished, every initial goal has been reached, and every feature works.
and then continued updating until 2020.

This is doubtful, but I'll admit I have lost the thought-chain and cannot refute this claim.

It's the word "own" and it rolls, get it? get it? No?
Oh well, that one took me a moment to get, too; I think it's an invitation to "roll your own" emoji for :brutal:. I vaguely remember there's some way to propose new emojis, maybe a thread somewhere in meta? No clue how many s you'd have to move out of the way to get there.

There are two levels of to move. First is your own.
- You have implement the idea. If you post a request for an emoji, it possible somebody else will implement it, but it's unlikely. You'll have much more success by implementing it yourself.
- (optional) People may suggest improvements; they might even implement them. (The most likely improvements relate to how easy or difficult it is to understand the intent when the image is .)
- If people like it, it will probably be added whenever @boomzilla kicks his .

Yeah. Adding emojis when the PR is done properly is pretty easy for me.

Thanks @ixvedeusi. If I understand means getting rolled and also getting owned?
@Tsaukpaetra Thirty-one uninterrupted posts starting https://what.thedailywtf.com/topic/25676/dawn-the-subleq-os-by-geri/130?page=3#, and then a brutal, epic post https://what.thedailywtf.com/post/1416115. Yet, @wger4 was a talented programmer. I'm sorry they were not redirected.

@Gribnit LOL. Brutal.

Especially since one of the features added in 2019 was making the C compiler understand hex numbers in the 0xABCDEF notation.
