Shall they send it to Chukotka! Or .
Better Chukotka. might respond by sending Justin Bieber, and that'd be a dangerous escalation of hostilities.

@DogsB probably can't be much worse than the other shit in there the last time I viewed that topic before setting it to Ignored.

Not content with sending us Abba, they're sending us their weather now.
Act of war!
But whose Waterloo will it be?

Status: Unable to be lazy and go to lunch in sandals because Mother Nature is currently delivering fat, gloppy, wet snow.

@izzion While the grass is still green here
-
@TimeBandit Shhh don't jinx it

I prefer ABBA's to The Kink's sunset version, if we're being honest.

If the grass is entirely covered by snow, is it still green?

It's currently 7:30PM and it's 3° Celcius outside.
The forecast for the week is -1 to 5° Celcius during the day.

It's currently (23:00) 4°C in central , with a forecast overnight low of 2°. It looks like that's the coldest it's supposed to get all week, but it's a weather forecast, so .

Waterloo
by definition, all others are copycat places

The grass is still green here too, but a white material started to cover it.
I do not like that!
What kind of curse has spelled over us?

I do not think Justin Bieber is @Carnage's type. I really do not imagine them looking even slightly the same, at least.

I mean, we could just put Bieber in Stockholm and he'd not stick out among all the other metrosexual degenerates.

IOW, central Texas and Montreal's weather are currently almost the same

I can tell you that after removing that white matter, the grass looks still green.
It does not answer the question about the color of the snow covered grass. It may just immediately change colors, even faster than some lizzards.
But I know areas in the country where after a long snowy winter the grass turns up brownish-grey after removal of the snow.

I hate winter, but not enough to remove the snow from the grass
-
I'm told it's actually pretty fun if you use a flamethrower.

I do not think I have ever encountered anyone who has shoveled their lawn. Usually people shovel their sidewalks to their lawn.

I remember several years ago I was following the news of one of the Mars rovers and noticed that it was warmer on Mars than it was in Boston that day.

Snowing in :
Parts of the park could receive around 2.1 meters (seven feet) of snow this weekend.
-
It was 75°F today, which for this time of year in this area is about 30° above normal.
Yay Global Warming.
-
@Gern_Blaanston it's been so hot here over the last week that bears are coming out of hibernation
-
@TimeBandit ... and I di not even fall into hibernation, though I really tried hard.
Went to bed yesterday evening at 7:30, got up just before 10 AM, but no, that's not yet hibernation. I need more training. Perhaps next winter.

Went to bed yesterday evening at 7:30, got up just before 10 AM,
At 7:30 last night, I was struggling to keep my eyes open. I went to bed around 8:00, or so. I woke up after an hour or so; I was still sleepy and wanted to go back to sleep, but overactive brain wouldn't let me. I got up around 11, I guess, and yelled at my son. I stayed up until about 1:00, which is a typical bedtime for me, reading TDWTF and watching YT videos until I felt sleepy again. I slept until 6:30, got up, took my morning medicine, read my Bible, went back to sleep a little after 7:00, and slept until 9:00. 8-ish hours of sleep, which is well above average for me; I rarely get more than 6.
