You know when I did web dev, I used to make little bookmarklets and widgets like this all the time. I guess my problem was I never made "artsy" pages to demonstrate them, like they were some museum exhibit. Also your bookmarklet doesn't work very well, it draws a big grey rectangle in the middle of the page for some reason.
