I have to remember to upload this knowledge it would be CRAZY to expect people to remember or even read this post.
A friend had burned his feet when cleaning floors..
He was having to visit the nurse a couple time in a row
She was putting a liquid on his feet.
He asked her what it was ...
when she didn't answer right away..
Dan said if You don't tell Me I won't let you put it on.
She said it was colloidal silver and the Pharmacies don't want us to talk about it.Same with Elderberry
Same with Pot

Shamans Remedy takes on and Crushes the FLU
A couple days ago I felt it coming on
So I continued with the Elderberry / Colloidal spray
But I needed More EB A tablespoon every 3 or 4 hours... hammered it
Then there was the uncomfortable feeling of my body being at war with the flu..
So in order to get the needed sleep... Marijuana, Pot, Weed and lay down. ZzzzzzIf that doesn't end the flu try hot toddies.
It probably helped that I have the most sacred Stones on my side....

The greatest Cookie ever... This is no lie.

I gonna do what Hippocrates would have done.

When you optimize; the code becomes impossible to understand...
We wouldn't want that now would we... 11,000 lines is tuff enough.

Everything that is weird in the sky is a Murmuration.
The Starling flock of 2019 Murmurated us.
We drove through the Murmur while on Ground; It felt like a million eyes on us. They didn't seem pleased NOPE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIDfYgGnV94
The murmur pursuit team did a high speed chase as the sub-flock were nearing Oliver. We saw strange formations before video starts..
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeZS-NiO7SE
Video of both are available.. and will be discussed.
Others would have gotten video and pics... Let's see them.
The strange cloud that formed 20 years ago Then reappeared in the same spot 2 weeks later ... Was that a murmuration Yup
Maybe the mother ship video and the buzzing around it were a murmurCrop circles, Alien ships all could be murmurations. Absolutely. Yup. (Murmur Expert)
Trust Science - unknown mad scientist. (NOT)There is weird shit going on with birds YUP

Blogging a bit about the best starter program.
Write it so your dumb old grandpa or grandma could easily understand
Supply a quick video of important 1 time builds and weird HINTS
Like do transaction logging of all events to a external file.
Do your more complex builds on more than 1 machine.. The old operating systems can have a bad build (back then) By just adding a dummy comment line the program WORKED.When you have a transaction file on an external usb stick
The rest is up to you.
A good backup of YOUR data on a duplicate system...
You are bulletproof. Don't be worry about your data... NopeDon't be afraid to keep lots of text data... You'll never fill up anything.
Build your own test data from this app (you'll need it)
-
@SpectateSwamp said in Nobody shares knowledge better than this:

This is because your programs will crash. However, if you didn't straight up suck at complex reasoning, it would be a bad idea to do this, as it is quite possible to fill a drive with useless logs that do nothing but indicate your total inability to test your system in part.

@boomzilla you can Betteridge-optimize it with some krazy glue, that cuts down on the interaction arity and partially immunizes them vs telemarketing fraud.

Best programming language.. Phooie. Best starter app is way more important.
When any fool can run a convert from VB to C, python, cobol ...
With ALL the hints and discoveries of a serious programmer .
With video examples, of the best of 'em
Video of the build steps (The important START)
Some test data along with the dump app (provided)
Keep every change along with it's EXE (so little space)
These HINTS will take up the first page or 2 of code
Long filenames used as a Control card of old
Create a transaction file for all activity...
Along with a backup file this can be a disaster recovery .... easily
A good friend once said:
"If he designed another system it would be ALL TEXT"

@SpectateSwamp it's a good thing you perform no active curation and maintain no metadata, then - else that sort of unthinkingly-regurgitate approach would require more specific support.
But it would not be kind to reveal to you the tools of true power, all in all. You seem happy on the near beach, piecing together crude images from what drifts from further shores.

Nobody shares Indexed files worth a shit.
But my method doesn't require opening large folders.
I create a playlist using the directory function. THEN
Search that playlist by long filename. Instantly playing / displaying stuff.
I'm gonna set the Max for the directory function to 10,000 (50% Of my needs) and have 2 folders for video, audio and pictures.I am currently curating my data and plan to only have them all on an external drive. Only plugging it in when I need 'em.
I am getting to hate my data when it is this slow.
All kinds of people are complaining about indexing...
Most of them are never seen or played unless they have a random optionSwampies are leading the way in curation and envisioning their data....

@SpectateSwamp what did doing things with the slightest efficiency do to you? Can you show us on the doll where rational decision-making touched you?
Alternatively, you've made a process that does a great deal of repeated work each time to achieve a result that only you enjoy - congratulations, but perhaps old-fashioned masturbation would have a better carbon footprint.

Mini Murmur happening right now... 6:30 (got 'em)
