This thread tells me that more people should have ClearCase inflicted upon them.
Been there, with UCM on top, a side of ClearQuest, and a generous helping of tunneling from one location to another making every operation slower than molasses. Thankfully I didn't have to work on that project for long, and my other projects with the same company used other systems. (Lots of little fiefdoms and legacy projects going back decades.)
ObGit: I haven't had to use it much; I went to Mercurial for personal projects and mostly use
hglike I did Subversion and Perforce before it. In all of them I stick to the simplest operations needed to get by.
