Spam on older article

Where would I report spam on an older comment thread?
At https://thedailywtf.com/articles/comments/are-you-doing-a-bit there seems to be a post only containing marketing:Asad Rajpoot (unregistered) in reply to Steve_The_Cynic
In case a moderator sees this: please feel free to delete this thread if you agree deleting the comment in question is the correct path forward and this was the correct way to report it.
Greetings, Thomas

@tjahns dunno. You might try this:
Or you could ping @apapadimoulis in here. I don't really know who does that stuff on the alleged "front page."
-
@boomzilla I dunno why you keep entertaining the idea that there's a front page, or, indeed, that any part of this exists outside our own mind, but it has been awfully boring around the ward lately.
-
@Gribnit someone hasn’t taken their medication today?
-
@Arantor might be too much of it.

Are you telling me you don't have the power to remove spam on those articles, or just ?
-
@dangeRuss fairly sure the front page and the forums are separate systems with separate permissions and have been that way forever.

There was a point during the DiscoDays IIRC when each article had a corresponding topic and that was the comments, before they got separated again.

I guess, but it's not like I can be there to make sure he does.
-
@loopback0 we do not speak of the DiscoDays. Please try to understand… They. Never. Happened.
*twitch *
Don’t make me rememb— they never happened. We’ve always been at war with Eura— NodeBB.

It's all theoretical. I'm not aware of anyone having actually seen the front page either.

No, they didn't. And I'm definitely not old enough to remember when they didn't happen.

I am telling you that. They're completely separate systems. I don't even have an account there.

Another reason to hate Atwood. Fucker ruined Disco for everyone.

@HardwareGeek some of it is fun.

If we can't agree that the Bee Gees were a better disco band than a country band we will have to have words.

@boomzilla Hustle can be fun to dance. And unfortunately it does require something kinda like disco music (even beat with no significant accent on the down-beat) to dance (because it's a 3-count dance done to 4-count music). Although I used to know a guy who said the only music he couldn't (and didn't) dance hustle to was Viennese waltz.

Better cannot be used to modify either disco or country.

@HardwareGeek what about the other kind of music, ‘western’?

says "no."
And notice how this time I didn't mention @remi by mistake. Wait—crap.

Your nodebb account works on the front page, at least for comments. It even says “(nodebb)” behind the user name.
Forum memes aside, to be honest I haven’t read many front page articles in years. Not sure why, they’re usually pretty fun and I certainly waste a lot more time per day hanging out in the forums than reading the article would take. I guess it’s a combination of habit and internet-induced short attention span. Reading a front page article requires more attention than reading a single comment, on average, so it feels like work. Almost like reading a post from @remi.

I propose the words "less heard" and I suspect the discussion will end amicably shortly thereafter.

Western music, like Los Angeles? That's pretty far west. Ok,
-
I have an evening routine, and one of them does include the latest article on a site very similarly named to this one. There, though, "older" would refer to something like 2008, not last November.

Depends on the country we are talking about. Because this is far better than anything from the bee gees:
-
-
@topspin Not a real thing - made up in the mid '70s as a publicity stunt, and it kinda went viral from there. Nobody kept track of anything before the internet.
-
@Gribnit Though the Johnny Cash/Trent Reznor collaboration meme was pretty good.
-
-
@boomzilla That's exactly the one I was thinking of, but trying to imply it was less real than it actually was, in line with the 'Johnny Cash was a viral meme from the mid 1970s' vibe.

Huh. That's a pretty low bar to clear.
When I think of Western music (not "country," mind you), I think of songs like "Pinto Pal", "Big Iron", or "The Cowboy Fireman".

The Bee Gees were best as a Beatles cover band.
