Yo Iran, I heard you like data breaches in yo data breaches

The videos appear to be training demonstrations the Iran-backed hackers made to show junior team members how to handle hacked accounts. They show the hackers accessing compromised Gmail and Yahoo Mail accounts to download their contents, as well as exfiltrating other Google-hosted data from victims.
-
@boomzilla Did any of the videos have two Iranian spies hammering on the same keyboard, or a long progress bar that said "Uploading virus"?
-
Maybe it's a counterintelligence operation to make themselves look dumber.
-
@anonymous234 You joke about that, but I've heard that actual intelligence officers consider "(s)he's too dumb to be a spy" one of the greatest compliments they can be (unwittingly) paid.
-
Is there actual hacking involved, or do they just browse through email accounts they already know passwords to?

Data point: Noticing there's a number in the URL of your user settings page and seeing what happens if you add one (or put in
1

, or1000
) is hacking.
-
@PleegWat so, have they done even as much?
