Reminds me of a job I applied for last year, with a towing company.
One of the things I had to do before the interview was to fill out a five page document, with various software and technologies in it (many of which I doubt they used extensively, or indeed at all, at the time, for example they had every version of Exchange from 5.5 to 2013 listed, along with Windows 2000 through 10), rate my proficiency with them on a scale of 1 to 10, note any certifications with any comments on them, as well as circle any typos in the document, which were largely just random version numbers being used (e.g. Windows Server 2014).
Me, being the pedant I am, noted that it said "This document may have typo's if found please circle", so I circled the apostrophe in it. I mean, they did ask...
I'm still not exactly sure what the point of hunting for random typos like that was. Anybody wanting to fudge their way through it probably would have used this new fangled google machine to get the answers.
