Zoom is bad on mobile

When I zoom in to see some detail in a image, the header and footer cover the entire screen

Granted, I used to complain about zoom on mobile when zoomingscrolling popped out the side bar, but that got fixed.

One recommends clicking said image first, which will open in a new tab (usually), then there is no header and footer to cover the screan.
