Back/forward buttons can overwrite the back/forward history

  • Considered Harmful

Step 1: Go to somewhere easily accessible, like Unread.
Step 2: Click on a thread.
    Step 3: Click Unread again.
To amplify the effect, you can repeat steps 2 and 3 a few times to really clutter up that back/forward history. But finish on Step 3.
Step 4: Click Back a bunch of times really fast.
Step 5: Without pausing after Step 4, click Forward a bunch of times really fast until you can't go forwards anymore.
The damage is done, but to properly execute Step 6 and for comedic effect, repeat steps 4 and 5 a few times. If possible, without stopping in between.
Step 6: Appreciate the blinkenlights. This seriously screws with the page.
Congratulations. Now your back/forward sequence should in no way whatsoever reflect your actual browsing history. I'm trying to figure out what speed I should stay at if I want it to only consist of the Unread page, I've done it before. For bonus ducks, open the Chrome task manager and see what the memory usage is. I've managed to get it to hit a gigabyte.
