@accalia needs to be ever so careful at the next census…
after the last one i filled out i'm not allowed to fill government forms out myself.... I need to use an interpreter..... that was part of the terms for continuing holding those charges in abeyance.
but i really shouldn't talk about it.

See? Spelling matters!
-
Totally agree. Yes it does!
-
Did you mean to paste in the same news story?!
-
Short answer Yes. Long answer no. There is an explanation, but I can see no way of mitigating the fact that, in this instance, that this is a serious of the stupid kind. So, I'm not going to bother.
Note: The emoji does not look like a tongue to me. To me it looks like a very specialized type of gag for a market sector that is painfully niched.
Regardles: :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P

It does look more like this:
-
I have no idea why but I keep reading it as Florida Man.
-
-
Did that girl eat the girl who ordered six cheeseburgers?
-
That led me to this wonderful headline:
Horse sex pervert travelled thousands of miles to fulfil vile animal urine fantasy
-
Never have so many occurrences of the letter V been on a single page of text as in the alliterative headlines of the related stories at the bottom of that article.
-
Enjoyed this one.
-
I saw the headline and picture, but didn't read the article. Whether she intended it or not, the resemblance is close enough that people are going to see what they're going to see. And I'd say it looks a lot more like what it looks like than that crude, childish drawing on the river ice resembles its anatomical inspiration.

Post time?
-
Post time?
time. The conversion from timestamp to time difference is done in client JS, so I'm guessing something related to time zones and different calendar days, or something. Dates 'Я' hard.

Fuck you - when using anLayer 8 errorimg
tag I had to set the width to 300% for it to still show smaller than the original image.
-
I had to set the width to 300% for it to still show smaller than the original image.
?
-
In hindsight I'm not sure
width="300%"
is valid in HTML, so it ends up as 300 pixels wide. I'll let Dicksores off on that, but...Sorry, an error has Discoursed
edit: - oh so now it shows the right size...
-
I think snow might be racist now!

It's not valid. The HTML
width
attribute specifies the element width in pixels; you can't specify units to the length. To specify a width in something other than pixels, you have to use the CSSwidth
property instead.

In keeping with the spirit of the bizarre situation, the deputy head of the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate, Vladimir Kuzin, responded with his own vision of Filin’s future as a driver. He told Russian media that “the next time he [Filin] is stopped by the traffic police, if he doesn’t have a pasta strainer on his head, his license will be taken from him.”

So far, 9 dogs have been poisoned in Snohomish County since last November, and 4 of them have died.
That number could rise. KING 5 said that “area veterinarians have also reported at least another dozen possible poisonings.”
Somebody's been leaving poisoned meat in local parks. "Poisoning Pigeons in the Park" is funny; poisoning people's pets is not. Even worse, in three cases the poisoned meat was apparently put in the dogs' own yards.
-
It's such a big problem in Germany that we have a dedicated website to show the location of discovered poison treats.
-
There was a case like this near where I live (uk) recently. After a Google search it seems this kind of thing is horrifyingly common. I blame this guy:
-
"Poisoning Pigeons in the Park"
I was about to raise some serious objections until I clicked the link.
-
Why is it that frequent of an occurrence in Germany?
-
Why is it that frequent of an occurrence in Germany?
Immigrants. No sorry, that's groping up women.
Germans then.
-
no. just no.

OH FFS!
-
yes, just yes

Poor Mr Biscuit =(

The firms, which have also collaborated on a Pot Noodle-flavoured egg, hope the pungent treats will help “broaden the appeal of Easter,” a spokesman said.
...somehow I don't see that being highly likely.
-
Pot Noodle-flavoured egg,
No, god no.
I once had occasion to visit a battery chicken farm (to fix their data system, not to wind them up of check if they were using Duracell's or anything).
The one overpowering memory I have was the smell. I don't know if was the general smell, or specifically the feed - the "data-center" was near the feed silo's,
but it reminded me of pot noodles
and I have not eaten one. since

Only posted because the "angry nephew" is an account manager at a potential supplier and is angling for some business with us. I'm glad I found this story, he could've sold our wheel of death right from under us.

Words I never thought I'd see together in the same sentence.
-
Never do business with family. Never turns out well.

Words I never thought I'd see together in the same sentence.
A sentence nearly-invariably uttered by Americans upon first seeing El Reg's website.

Does tool station really need to know my location? For what possible purpose? And they already have it on file because I need a fucking socket converter!
I sometimes have fun with these because my work ISP exits our private cloud onto the Internet on the other side of the country. ^^
-
My office is in Dallas, but our IP registers as being at our main office, for some reason, which is in New Jersey. At various times, it's been identified as being in NJ, North Carolina, or, for some reason I can't figure out, Florida. Never Dallas, though.

Good riddance to bad rubbish?
