Discourse needs this, do you think they'll accept a patch?
-
-
It's a pity servercooties.com doesn't have a lot of vertical scrolling; that would have been ideal
-
There's a Dalek in the source code!
-
we'll have to make it fit.
-
Bug: Only 254 seconds of muzak in the default package, which is only enough to scroll 99.2 screenfuls or approximately 500 posts.
Solution: Replace with a complete and unabridged performance of The Planets, looped eight times, to be able to cover T/1000.

@Wikipedia said:
The suite has seven movements, each named after a planet and its corresponding astrological character:
- Mars, the Bringer of War
- Venus, the Bringer of Peace
- Mercury, the Winged Messenger
- Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity
- Saturn, the Bringer of Old Age
- Uranus, the Magician
- Neptune, the Mystic
[...]
A typical performance of all seven movements is about fifty minutes long, though Holst's own electric recording from 1926 is just over forty-two and a half minutes.
So, 3.75 hours of music for your T/1000-scrolling pleasure.

i got it right!
that's what i'm listening to now!
-
The Bringer of War, certainly the most appropriate movement for Discourse.
Edit: + the Bringer of Old Age would be fitting for periods of sever cootiness.
-
that's the first movement., i linked to the whole playlist.
no idea how it oneboxed.
-
It oneboxed the playlist properly from the looks of it
-
todo: create a 24 hour playlist of music and paste it into the song of the day thread.

-
why'd you add a letter to that quote?
:-P

Now, do I reveal I also saw that -editβ¦

Why wasn't I made aware of this requirement?
By Sagan, we shall pad the height as much as possible! We shall show all the cooties in the last year if we have to!
The real question is, do we also need the elevator bar?
Also, why is that not defined? I'd do it, but I have to find the original reference first, don't want to misattribute the definition, you see.
