Attrition?? Pfft - we have a retention problem

A friend of mine was examining his HR benefits page and happened to click upon the page detailing time off. In a nice chart was listed the time off per years of service:
0 to 4 years ............ 23 days
5-9 years ..................28 days
10 to 24 years .......... 33 days
25 to 100 years ........ 38 days
When 100 years worked here you have...

That limitation was set up to cover the Highlander department. Talk about long-term employment.

Yeah, do you know what would happen if the scale was logarithmic and they hired Duncan McCloud? After 100 years of service, he'd be getting 365 days of leave a year. The company would have to support him for all eternity, with raises even!
