Bad CSS on main website

  • @apapadimoulis

    custom.css line 66:

    pre { font-family: Consolas, monospace; white-space:normal}

    This is breaking every article that features code blocks.

  • SockDev

    Overriding the white-space setting on a <pre> tag...

  • I think he was trying to be clever and stop the long code lines from going over the right edge of the page, but breaking everything else in the process. Better to use

    overflow-x: auto

  • Probably caused by the hasty CSS changes to make this article look right, followed by this one the next day.

  • Moved this stuff to Bugs category, because bugs.

    I was gonna do that, but I got distracted searching for meme images... then I thought about calling a Nissan 'Nicole'... then @accalia promised to be gentle when she nibbles my ears... then I started talking to my co-workers about videogames...

    That's one way to hone those hunter-killer instincts I guess :smile:

  • Will fix today; I saw a github issue logged about this as well..
