-NaN% posters and hamster smurfing!
-
you live in a pub, don't you?
-
@PJH really seems to be a Stammgast there.
-
Only near weekends...
-
there's a query that won't be abused.... :-D
-
It helps if he's the only one that can run it...
-
... and I won't be abused...
-
Ok.
-
(btw, this is my 4 x (10^3) post!)
-
Only 96 to go till a nice round number?
-
yup. then hundreds more to the 2^12 badge.
-
Thousands, surely? 4096 is only 2^12
-
Thousands is merely many hundreds.
-
And not all posts count for the badge.
-
My bad for not quoting I guess... Chubert's post originally read 2^13, he ninjaed it after my reply.
-
Indeed \m/
-
Fairly sure I'm first in that queue.
-
does that cover all of us?
I'd be 100% fine with being called "Master". Although if you're putting in custom logic, my favorite title I ever earned in a game was "Ambassatrix Plenipotentiary" :D
Or maybe "The Tiger of Jiang Dong"

Clearly, I've got to step up the posting if I'm going to stay in the top 10.

Huh, Discourse didn't mangle the formatting as badly as I thought it wood.
hehe, you said "wood"
-
Brain is wood due to caffeine deficiency; I'm somewhat surprised my eyes are even open. Typing "would" as "wood" is the least of my problems. Unfortunately, adding caffeine at this time of the evening will result in failure to sleep tonight, and even more brain malfunction tomorrow.

CAFFEINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Body is invalid; try to be a little more descriptive

it's tuesday, not monday.
-
Just downloading a backup. Needs restoring and a query running...
-
It's just a few minutes to Wednesday where @PJH is.
-
The left coast is waaaaaaaaaaay behind.
-
indeed! which meaNS, I'm probably out of likes for today....
yup. i am.
-
Derp.
Opposite of what you asked for, but probably what you're actually after:
[postgres@sofa ~]$ NAME=chubertdev sql_tdwtf 2n_posts # How many eligible posts have been made WITH exclusions AS ( /* Which categories to exclude from counters */ SELECT user_id, id, topic_id, post_number FROM posts WHERE raw LIKE '%[UUID Removed to stop this thread being excluded]%' AND user_id IN ( SELECT gu.user_id FROM group_users gu WHERE group_id IN( SELECT g.id FROM groups g WHERE g.name IN ('admins') ) ) ) SELECT u.username, count(*) FROM badge_posts bp JOIN users u on u.id=bp.user_id AND u.username LIKE 'chubertdev' WHERE topic_id NOT IN ( /* Topics with less than 10 posts */ SELECT topic_id FROM badge_posts GROUP BY topic_id HAVING count(topic_id) < 10 ) AND topic_id NOT IN ( /* Excluded topics */ SELECT topic_id FROM exclusions ) GROUP BY u.username ORDER BY count(*) DESC LIMIT 25 username | count ------------+------- chubertdev | 3334 (1 row) Elapsed: 1.54s Backup taken: 2014-10-28 23:41:25.942728

Wow, I have a long way to go.
-
Backup taken: 2014-10-28 23:41:25.942728
I'm quite impressed that the entire backup can be timestamped to a precision of one microsecond. I would have thought that the backup process would have taken much longer than that.
-
Har de har.
[postgres@sofa ~]$ grep "function backup_date" /usr/local/bin/sql_tdwtf -A5 function backup_date(){ # When the backup was taken sql "SELECT created_at FROM post_actions ORDER BY created_at DESC LIMIT 1" | grep "201[45]-" }

10 now, huh?
That's easy; just post more until every (otherwise eligible) topic has at least 10 posts in it.
-
That just invites the query to be changed.
-
It, very surprisingly, had very little effect on the outcome of the queries concerned.
-
This post is deleted!

I'm really not surprised. I think it was there to filter out the OnePost stuff, right? Which already has restrictions IIRC, so it's already filtered out.
-
Though this makes we wonder about the distribution of post count among topics.
-
i'm working on a graphing bot, so we'll be able to automate pretty pictures from sql statements soonish. i hope to have that by next monday.

-
Bear in mind that includes anything that's a post (PM's, flags comms, deleted posts, @system messages)
-
...What did you DO to that data? I pasted it into excel to make a graph and now excel is caught in an infinite loop of crashing, restarting, auto-recovering the document, and crashing again.
-
Copy-pasted the output from one of my queries. Much the same as I do here.,,,
the only reason I didn't is that the output was rather long.
-
Well I give up, it is officially ungraphable.
-
I'll see what my VM does with it..
-
LibreOffice has no problem. Though I'm not sure what's the most interesting view.
-
It will surprise no-one that Excel 2010 might just be that awful.
-
2013 isn't much happier.

Simple bar chart of both columns (so the X axis is just the row number) with a logarithmic y-axis.
