MAGICIAN PRIVILEGE.

It's not exactly funny, but I made this picture a while ago and still haven't had the chance to use it anywhere. So I'll leave it here and hope somebody can give it a life in an appropriate thread:

Seriously? There's probably about 28,965,137,015,783,921,758,392,416,773,902 places you could have used it just on this forum alone!
-
Yeah but I was saving myself for the right one!
-
Not doing the same with your avatar I see.

Is that one of the Battlefield Hardline joke reloads?
-
It was posted as "Garry's Mod Artwork" so I assume it's not. It could be, though.

-
why the hell is that screenshot so dark?
renderer options?
If you use OpenGL, you can change your lighting profile.
-
Don't care, really, the game is fine, the screenshot is a liar.
-
Is it bad that I recognize the level (The Pit, from Doom 2)?
-
Nah, it's fine. If I had been looking at the floor, then it might be worrisome.
-
I didn't at first ...
But yeah, it's the place with the wall with the Mancubus in it (at least on Ultra-Violence).
-
And here I chose a non interesting angle on purpose... fucking nerds

I've been playing Doom since it came out, I was like 6 years old at the time. I could have spent my formative years doing something creative and useful like learning foreign languages or learning to play musical instruments. Instead I hardwired a large portion of my brain to all things Doom and Heretic.
-
learning to play musical instruments
Shooting demons is pretty damn musical. At least, it's pretty damn noisy.

Why didn't I save? Nooo, I had to be a self confident idiot...
Bah, enough for tonight. Chainsaw all the things tomorrow.
-
The wad I'm using has a katana~
But I'm just in Doom I Episode 2 because the mapset I'm playing is pretty challenging.
-
I like sword - it's a personal weapon.

You blocking with your head again!

I remember we used to take over the little study rooms in the dorm and black out the windows. Crowds of people used to watch us take turns playing. Good times.
-
Oh.
BTW anybody who has some free time and a degree in theoretical physics should play some Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and explain to me how reloading the Bulldog works.
The Bulldog is a 6-shot shotgun where the shells are pre-loaded into the barrel (?). When you reload, your player removes the barrel, flips it 180 degrees, then places it back on the gun-- it magically has 6 more shells in it. It's busted my brain ever since I started playing that game.
-
Fantasy physics?
-
Apparently according to the wikia page, in Ghosts the model shows extra barrels stowed, which might go some way towards explaining what happens. I never played Ghosts that long, because that game sucks shit.
-
That wiki page doesn't show much, but I don't think you can stow multiple bullets inside a single barrel anyway - you probably need a magazine. Or six barrels.
-
It's a shotgun. It could maybe work with shotgun shells. Maybe.
Note that Advanced Warfare is a game without joke reloading animations. As far as I know.

I made someone throw up from watching me play Descent in college. Remember those corridors that had a square cross-section that rotated in a helical way, like the rails of a wrought-iron fence? For no particular reason I used to fly down them while logrolling in the opposite direction. Kid came in, saw someone playing a video game, said "are you playing Doom?" then saw what was going on, hurked and ran out of the lab.

Regular semiauto shotguns store the shells in a second tube. I don't know from the different CoD games, but the video on the page Blakey linked had a bunch of people with robot arms. Just assume either there's extra barrels stowed in the stock, like a couple of pictures show, and the animation isn't accurate, or else it's the same kind of magic that allows ugly-ass Bionic Man arms.
Some things, no matter how you try, you can't work out, like how the interior set of the Millennium Falcon can fit inside the exterior. It just can't be done, because the interior set was designed for a different external layout, and they changed the outside halfway through, but didn't redo the interior sets.
-
It's a video game. If they don't show something happening, it's not happening. They do show a shotgun barrel magic-ing up more ammo by being spun around, so I guess we have that at least.

So that's where they got the idea in American Pie 2 from!

I wasn't sure where to post this, but this is the logo for a company we did a bit of testing for. I pointed out it looks a bit "phallic" and this was news to them. Needless to say you can always rely on me t-HURR HURR IT LOOKS A BIT LIKE A DICK.

That has yet to cease to be funny but I do suspect it's fake/exaggerated based on how long his legs stay twitching. He did only zip himself indirectly. (I mean, maybe it's 100% real, it just doesn't seem like it.)

I get the feeling he was laughing at the end there.

That's plausible. His brother/cousin/whatever certainly thought it was funny enough to dig his face out his girlfriend's crotch.
