I remember posting about Google's bizarre failure to translate Latin; I think it may have been on the old forums. Latin translation is (or was that time) described as beta, but it's not buggy; it's not even close. Somebody suggested Google put in a feature to detect lorem ipsem and, rather than trying to translate the pseudo-Latin gibberish, just spout random English gibberish instead.
